Adrienne Maloof Reveals One of Her Sons Was Nearly Kidnapped as a Baby: Details

"The whole thing went down in seconds," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared of the scary incident.

Adrienne Maloof is sharing a story from her past that left her deeply unsettled.

During a June 4 appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum revealed that around 20 years ago, while on a shopping trip, one of her children was almost kidnapped.

“My nanny and I were there, and security was over further away, and this lady came up and my son was crying and she actually took him out of my nanny’s hands and started going towards the elevator,” Adrienne shared on the radio program. “Thank god I had security, but he was in the back looking. The whole thing went down in seconds.”

Adrienne shares three children with her ex-husband, Dr. Paul Nassif: Gavin, 20, and twins Christian and Collin, 18. She did not explicitly specify which one of her children was nearly kidnapped.

“It was freaky, but that’s how quickly it can happen … within seconds,” Adrienne shared, later adding that, fortunately, her security team got a hold of the matter and "got" the woman as she was “running towards the escalator.”

“I actually thought, ‘Wow, thank god,’ because what if [my security] wasn’t there … [She could have gotten away],” she added.

Despite her harrowing story, Adrienne's three sons have remained safe and are thriving in early adulthood.

In August 2022, Adrienne and Paul celebrated Gavin attending the University of Utah. In addition, just a few days ago, the proud parents took to Instagram to commemorate their twin sons graduating high school.

In a Reel set to "Glory Days" by Bruce Springsteen, Adrienne snapped pictures of Christian and Collin walking to accept their diploma and throwing their graduation caps up in the air.

"So proud of my beautiful boys on their graduation day," Adrienne wrote in the caption. "Bittersweet as they move on to the next chapter in their lives."

Paul also shared moments from the graduation to his own Instagram page, captioning the post with heartfelt words. "I can't believe my baby boys...my twins...graduate high school today," Paul stated before writing a letter to his sons in the caption.

"Christian and Collin, you've made it so easy to be your dad; it's truly the easiest job I've ever had," he added. "You both are such great kids, or should I say young men. You mean everything to me. I'll be here for you every step of the way, but I truly couldn't be any prouder of you or more excited about what the future has in store for you both. I love you forever."
