On April 7, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, who got engaged to John in August 2024, revealed she took a "bridal retreat" to Scottsdale, Arizona, with several friends to celebrate her forthcoming union. In the mix was another RHOC alum: Jo De La Rosa.
In an Instagram photo, Alexis posed in an olive green jumpsuit and sneakers, holding a Louis Vuitton Damier Canvas pattern carry-on suitcase. "Mission 'getting married' bridal retreat starts 3, 2, 1....NOW!!!!!" she captioned the post, tagging her guests coming, which included Jo and apparently was supposed to include Tamra Judge.
"We are missing you [Tamra]," Alexis continued in the caption, also writing, "I [love] you [John] and I cannot WAIT to be Mrs. Janssen."
Jo shared her excitement in the comments section while Tamra lamented the fact that she couldn't come. "Have the best time. Sorry I couldn’t be there."
Later, in an adorable video shared to her Instagram, Alexis sang "Chapel of Love" by The Dixie Cups with her pals in what appeared to be an elevator as the "bridal retreat" was underway.

In another Instagram post, Alexis documented her time at the bridal boutique Modern Bride in Arizona. The California mom posed nearly in the nude while holding a sign that said, "I said yes to the dress."
In her caption, Alexis noted, "I said yes, but you have to wait for the dress."

Back in September 2024, Alexis stopped by Bravo HQ to share details about her plans to tie the knot with John this summer.

"We're not doing a typical wedding," she shared. "We're changing it up; we have a couple [of] creative ideas."
Though Alexis noted she has yet to work out the larger details, she knew she wanted to have a more non-traditional affair.
"I don't know the dress style yet. I'm not wearing a wedding dress, I'm not walking down an aisle," Alexis said about a month after getting engaged. "But, my son James [Bellino] did ask to give me to John, so we're gonna have to figure that out because I don't want to walk down an aisle."

Though Alexis may invited a few familiar Bravo faces to the ceremony, she wants to keep things more intimate. "I mean, we're thinking 100 or under, but we're already at like 80 people just with family and close friends, so I don't know what it's going to look like," she said.
