Amanda Batula is here to address any speculation making the rounds about whether or not she's pregnant, even as she and her husband, Kyle Cooke, have had a magnifying glass put on their relationship on the current Season 8 of Summer House.
In spite of their struggles, they have been open about their future as a couple and the possibility of expanding their family. Just don't expect them to expand their family right now.
Amanda Batula Addresses Pregnancy Rumors
Amanda took to her Instagram Story this week, where she told her followers that she is not expecting her first child with Kyle.
"I'm just exhausted and brain dead, because I am 32 years old, and I just got back from a bachelorette trip, where we drank all day, every day in the hot Florida sun," she explained. "So I am fried. And even if I was pregnant, I am pulling a Kylie Jenner and not telling any of you until that baby comes out of me. OK?"
Amanda then asked for her followers for some privacy and to put an end to the prying. "So with all due respect, I love you guys so, so much," she added. "Please stop asking me if I'm pregnant."
Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke on wanting kids in the future
During Summer House Season 8, Episode 4, Kyle said that he and Amanda have things to figure out in their relationship before they start a family. "We love each other," he said.
"We know we want to start a family. But we're really good at procrastinating and not dealing with our issues."
Amanda, who experienced a pregnancy scare during Winter House Season 3, opened up about this experience in the Summer House Season 8 premiere and how it impacted their future plans. "Over the winter, I ended up taking a pregnancy test, and I feel like ever since, we haven't been in a really good place," she explained in a confessional. "Taking that test really made us start to think about what's next for us, and we're not ready."
While at BravoCon 2023, Amanda told People that they've been "practicing" for having babies, but aren't ready to have them due to their busy schedules. "We're so preoccupied with the dogs," she explained. "We'll eventually be ready for kids."
In addition to that matter, the married couple has shined a light on their issues over the course of Season 8, highlighting their lack of communication and the fact that they tend to get under each other's skin. While the Loverboy co-workers have played around with the idea of couple's therapy, Amanda hasn't necessarily been on board. "We haven't been in a really good place," Amanda revealed in the Summer House Season 8 premiere.
We guess we'll have to continue to tune in to see what happens next. Watch Summer House on Bravo Thursdays at 9/8c. Stream the next day on Peacock.
