Amanda & Kyle Cooke Tease Summer House Season 9 Dynamics: "Recipe For Disaster..."

Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke's love story has been captured over the past nine seasons of Summer House. But they're not the only cast members who have experienced the ups and downs in their relationships on the show — especially when it comes to this summer featured on the new season of the Bravo show.

Both Amanda and Kyle spoke with The Daily Dish ahead of the Summer House Season 9 premiere (more on that down below), where they revealed that this season of Summer House will be the "summer of relationships." This means that cast members will be embracing their platonic relationships between friends, exploring their romantic sides, and giving closure to some former relationships as well.

"We had a lot of fun," Kyle said. "We still have a little new romance. We have some relationships that are definitely on the outs."

"I would say it's the summer of relationships," Amanda added. "Whether it's romantic or platonic."

"Or lack thereof," Kyle chimed in.

But there will also be a resolution for the cast members who were once in relationships with one another. This may include Ciara Miller and West Wilson, who met on Summer House Season 8, but broke things off shortly after filming. As well as Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard, whose engagement ended in the Summer House Season 8 finale.

"You get closure or like, questions answered and things cleared up," Amanda explained. "But it was a good summer overall, for everyone....for almost everyone."

Kyle and Amanda were there to support their friends living with their exes and going through some trying times throughout Season 9. "In most scenarios, having exes in a house is a recipe for disaster," Kyle explained. "I'm not saying it was easy, but I give Carl and Lindsay in particular a lot of credit for putting their best foot forward."

Amanda continued, noting that they were able to "show up" for everyone in the house. "We all have our own relationships with each other," she explained. "So even though these two might be beefing and I'm nice to this person that you're beefing with, it's not personal. We live in this house together, we're like a family. So just sort of navigating that and not taking things too personally."
