Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor caused quite a bit of drama. He met Brittany Cartwright. The bartender moved her into his tiny apartment and then cheated on her. But for some reason, Brittany forgave him, and they walked down the aisle in her fabulous Kentucky wedding. Then the couple was let go from Pump Rules and popped up years later on The Valley. However, this time we saw the couple’s marriage unravel. Well, Andy Cohen has decided to enjoy a moment from the past and throw it way, way back. Here’s a Jax reunion moment that Andy thought came from “simpler times…”
Did Andy Cohen target Jax Taylor during this particular Vanderpump Rules reunion?
Andy posted a clip on X, formerly Twitter, from the virtual Season 8 reunion. “Wow I forgot about this. Simpler times!” Andy captioned the video. Of course, Jax had plenty to say to the host during a break from filming. Jax claimed that Andy “has something against” him.
Then Tom Schwartz chimed in. “I think Andy’s rooting for you! Andy’s rooting for you, Jax!” he stated. “I like you a lot,” Andy said. But Jax wasn’t done. “You got a weird way of showing it,” he told Andy.
So, Andy explained his duties. “Guess what, my job here is to call people out,” Andy stated. While Jax stated that he was the “best [he’d] ever been,” he believed that Andy picked on him too much. Oof.
“You need to watch the show. Part of the reason [there’s] such a disconnect, why you think I’m such an assh*le is you don’t want the show,” Andy explained “and I’m responding to sh*t that you’re saying and that we’re seeing on the show.” When Jax stuck to his truth, Andy responded, “Jax, you gotta watch the show, because that’s what I’m dealing with. That’s what I’m working off of.”
Well, right now, Jax is grappling with some serious issues. Brittany and Jax separated, and Jax checked into rehab to deal with his mental health. Then he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Meanwhile, Brittany filed for divorce. At first, Jax’s legal documents indicated that he was fine with Brittany having sole custody of their son, Cruz. And that is why you should hire an attorney to fill out important legal documents.
Eventually, Jax reportedly changed his mind and hired Kevin Federline’s attorney. I mean, someone needs to fix the errors that Jax made in the documents. Plus, now Jax wants to pursue joint custody of Cruz.
So, who has been supporting Jax amid his divorce? Tom Sandoval! The cover band singer and Jax have been hanging out a lot lately. I wonder if Sandoval is trying to secure a place on The Valley in case Pump Rules doesn’t return.
The Valley is streaming on Peacock.
