Ann Maddox's Career Has Taken a Very Interesting Turn: "Lucky Girl

Tom Sandoval's former assistant, Ann Maddox, made a surprise appearance during the 2025 Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 9. The one-time Something About Her employee, who appeared on Vanderpump Rules Season 11, co-starred in a commercial during the big game, and had the best reaction to watching herself on TV... again.

In the commercial, which aired mid game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs during Super Bowl 59, Ann played the role of financial advisor to comedian, Nate Bargatze. In the for DoorDash commercial, Nate can be seen taking Ann around his mansion as he explains all of his recent outlandish purchases to her. "You need to stop spending," she says in the video. "I quit!"

Does Ann Maddox still work as Tom Sandoval's assistant?

She does not. After working as Tom's assistant, Ann worked at Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney's sandwich shop, Something About Her. She currently co-hosts a podcast, We Signed an NDA, with Amanda Lifford, and is acting, as seen in the commercial which aired during the Super Bowl.

In an April 2024 interview with The Daily Dish, Ann revealed that she started working for Tom as she was going on auditions and needed a flexible job. "I decided to quit working full-time when I started booking small sitcom roles and TV commercials because I wanted to audition more," she explained. "My last job before Tom was working as a server at the Greek Theater. But when the pandemic hit, all concert venues shut down so I really needed work."
