Austen Kroll Celebrated His Birthday By Becoming a (Cat) Dad: "Meet Piper and Martini"

Austen Kroll is officially a dad to two very adorable cats. The Southern Charm cast member recently celebrated his birthday and got two fluffy friends as his present.

The Trop Hop founder and birthday boy took to Instagram on June 16, where he posted a photo of himself showing off his two new pet cats, Piper and Martini. In the picture, Austen can be seen smiling so widely, while holding Piper — a striped cat in his right arm — and Martini — a white cat with stripes along her head and back — in his left. He also posted so many photos of the cats in the Instagram carousel, showing off all of their cutest moments of them cuddling together and playing with him.

"Happy Birthday...to me!" he wrote in the caption of the post. "Sorry in advance to non cat lovers, but my IG stories about to be [cat emoji] [fire emoji]."

He also took to the comments of the post, where the newly minted "cat dad" clarified which cat is which. "Piper is on my right arm (stage right) and Martini on my left," he wrote.

Austen's sister, Katie Kroll, penned a message for her big brother. "My nieces," she wrote.

Austen later took to his Instagram Story, where he showed off the place where the cats have been cozying up in his home. In the photos, both Piper and Martini can be seen sleeping on the chairs tucked into his kitchen table, curled up in a ball. Although they have their own beds, Austen has learned that cats love sleeping in the most random places.

"Rule 1. Cats don't give af about the expensive beds you bought them," he wrote over the photos.

Austen may have two new loved ones in his life, but Austen and his girlfriend, Audrey Pratt, look to be going strong in their long-distance relationship. The couple most recently took a trip to Chicago in April, and Austen posted photos on Instagram, where they attended a baseball game, drank beer out of mugs in the shape of a baseball bat, and feasted on the local cuisine. 

In a December interview with The Daily Dish, Austen revealed that he and Audrey have put "no pressure" on making decisions about the future of their relationship. "Where do I see it going? I mean look — there is no pressure whatsoever, and I'm not putting pressure on this of, like, when are you gonna move here or what are we gonna do? At the moment, it's just working the way it should work," he noted.
