Bachelor Grant Ellis is grant-ing the wishes of several couples in the spirit of Valentine’s Day.

“Today, the Bachelor and I are surprising couples with their very own one-on-one dinner-date experience,” Ellis, 31, said in a video exclusively shared with Us Weekly. “You ready to do it Bachelor style?”

The video cut to Ellis spying on a couple seated at a park bench in New York City, listening to a violinist. The Bachelor season 29 lead approached the pair, taking a page from the beloved ABC show by holding a rose in his hand.

“How are you guys doing today?” Ellis asked the couple, who quickly rose to their feet to hug the Bachelor. The woman appeared shocked by the interaction, exclaiming to her partner, “How did you pull this off!”

Fans submitted their most memorable “meet-cute” stories for a chance to win a dinner date and VIP car service, with Grant helping to pull off the epic surprise. The couples with the most heartwarming stories were selected for a Bachelor-worthy moment.

While walking in the park, Ellis proceeded to hand a rose to several other pairs — all of whom had smiles on their faces.

“On behalf of The Bachelor and I, we are going to surprise you guys with your very own one-on-one date Bachelor style, in the city, at a very nice restaurant,” Ellis told the couple, who hugged. “Commitment means a lot to me. Obviously I’m at a stage in my life where I’m ready for that step and you know something, you shot your shot, and look where it ended up — with you with the love of your life. That’s something that I’m doing as well, shooting my shot. You guys are an inspiration to me.”

The woman smiled at Ellis’ admission and replied, “That’s very kind of you.”

Before the video came to a close, Ellis approached one last couple sitting on a park bench. “There’s only one question left to ask. You gotta ask it,” he said, handing a rose and leading her to ask whether her partner would accept.

“To be continued… The most dramatic Valentine’s Day ever. February 15 @bachelorabc,” a message played over the video.

While Ellis has been tight-lipped about whether he’s spending Valentine’s Day with a special someone of his own, the lead teased to Us ahead of the premiere episode that he’s “always happy.”

“I’m happy with life,” he told Us in January, “and I’m happy with the way that things are going and the way that things played out.”
