Bachelorette Clare Crawley shocked fans when she went to Instagram teasing fans about her daughter looking out an airplane window to make sure her wedding dress was being loaded on the flight. She then kept posting about getting married. Many were confused because she has been saying she and Ryan Dawkins have been married for over a year now. Clare Crawley Explains Why She Was Not Legally Married
Bachelorette star Clare Crawley went to Instagram to reveal that she is now officially and legally Mrs. Ryan Dawkins. Clare and Ryan took their daughter Rowan and jetted off to Las Vegas to make their vows legal.
After saying they were married in 2023, she is now revealing that they never actually got a marriage license. Here’s why. First of all, she shared it was only in the past few months they realized they had such a crazy year that they just forgot about getting the marriage license. So now, they are correcting that error.
When they started wedding planning in 2023 one of the most important parts was ensuring her mom would get to see her daughter on her wedding day. Recall, that Clare’s mom is suffering from dementia. During their planning, her mom got very ill and they were worried she wasn’t going to live much longer.
Clare said,
So without skipping a beat we threw all the plans to the wind and within the week my amazing event planning husband pulled together the most perfect intimate ceremony. It was truly perfect in every way and my beautiful mother was able to see us on our wedding day. I truly couldn’t have asked for anything more special.
She went on to say that shortly after they found out about having Rowan, they were also closing on their dream house and life just got hectic. All of that happened within a few short months.
Clare said, “I prayed every day that my strong mama would be able to somehow hang on to see ME become a mama, and Rowen could meet her namesake. It felt like a miracle when that happened. Cut to now- my mama is still holding on strong.”
Making It Official and Legal
Clare Crawley went on to say that after realizing it wasn’t legal, they decided that their first wedding day was so sentimental and perfect so they wanted to do it differently. This time around they wanted to just have a blast. So, she and Ryan decided to head to Vegas.
She said, “So we did Vegas!! We did Pink Cadillac, Little White Chapel, and obviously Elvis was our officiant!! We had the time of our lives and your girl is OFICIALLY Mrs. Dawkins! ❤️”
In one of her posts, she gushed about her husband and they both look incredibly happy.
