Bachelor’s Litia Garr Says She Still Holds a Grudge Against Grant: ‘It Was All a Lie’

It’s been almost two months since Bachelor Nation viewers watched Grant Ellis break Litia Garr’s heart on Season 29 of The Bachelor. The split was filmed months earlier. She opened up in a new interview about where they stand now and if she holds a grudge against him.

The Bachelor dating show ends in heartbreak for many of the women contestants and only one happily-ever-after. For Litia Garr, she thought for sure that Grant Ellis was going to propose to her on Season 29. Despite telling her that he loved her, Grant sent her home and proposed to Juliana Pasquarosa.

But Litia, 32, didn’t go home quietly. She called Grant out on camera for leading her on. The confrontation continued on the After The Final Rose special. She made the shocking claim that Grant strongly hinted the last time they saw each other before the final rose ceremony that he was going to pick her. But then he didn’t and she was left confused and heartbroken.

In a new interview on The Julia Cunningham Show, Litia said that she still thinks Grant was wrong for what he did. She said that the leads on the show “think” they mean it when they say they love someone but they really don’t.

She put herself in Grant’s shoes and said, “If I were in his shoes, I wouldn’t say something like that unless I was sure.” Does that mean she’s not over him?

Litia Garr Reveals If She Holds A Grudge Against Him

Grant Ellis and his fiance, Juliana Pasquarosa, have moved on with their lives after backlash from fans. Litia Garr said on the radio show that she’s moved on, too. She said that she finally got closure and it was thanks to Grant himself.

“I said it that day to him and I was just like, if someone is capable of doing this to someone that they said they loved, I couldn’t be with that person,” the Bachelor runner-up explained.

She added that Grant’s behavior made it easier for her to move on.

Is She Done With Bachelor Nation Shows?

The Bachelor Nation franchise gives rejected contestants another chance at love on Bachelor In Paradise. Former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants head to the beach to look for a love match. The show is finally returning for a new season this year.

In a new twist, Season 10 will also feature contestants from The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette. Zoe McGrady, who came in third place on Grant’s Bachelor season is one of the confirmed contestants on BIP this summer. Should fans expect Litia Garr to be there?

Many heartbroken contestants, including Tyler Cameron, are one-and-done with the show. They never appear on another Bachelor Nation show. But not Litia Garr. She said she would join another reality TV show if asked.

“I’m open to it. I had a great experience. I think it’s very new and I had a great [time],” she said about her time on the ABC dating show. But whether she joins Season 10 of Bachelor In Paradise remains to be seen. The new season premieres in July but the full cast list hasn’t come out yet.
