Behind the Scenes at Dancing with the Stars Season 33 Finale: Joey's Fiancée Kelsey Bolts After His Big Win (Exclusive)

First Joey Graziadei got the girl on The Bachelor, and now he won the Mirrorball trophy.

The Bachelor, 29, and his partner Jenna Johnson beat out former NFL pro Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, actress Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, and Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold to win Dancing with the Stars season 33 on Tuesday, Nov. 26. It came down to Joey and Jenna, 30, and Ilona, 28, and Alana, 30, but the former tennis pro ended up coming out on top after scoring a 29/30 on their Freestyle to “Canned Heat” and a perfect score on their Cha Cha to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”

Joey, who got engaged to Kelsey Anderson in the finale of his Bachelor season, told PEOPLE he had big — and boozy — plans to celebrate his win.

“I got a really nice bottle of Patron and we're gonna get a little drunk,” he said. “I’ll be honest, it's been a little bit.”

PEOPLE was in the ballroom when host Alfonso Ribeiro crowned Joey and Jenna the winners —  and here’s what happened behind the scenes on the buzzing finale night:

• Right after Joey and Jenna received the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy from season 32 champs Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy (Jenna’s husband!), Joey’s fiancée Kelsey, 26, headed out after taking photos of Good Morning America and did not do any interviews. Joey had other Bachelor Nation supporters on hand though, such as Tanner Courtad from Charity Lawson’s season and Jason Tartick.
  
  
• Val celebrated his wife's epic win and kept giving Jenna hugs and kisses after the results were announced.
  
  
• All the eliminated couples stayed behind to congratulate the top 5 contestants.

• Rylee, 19, skipped doing most interviews and was very emotional. However, she was supported by her entire family, who stayed back to support her and Stephen. Her boyfriend Walker Lyons spent time playing with Rylee's niece Sage, 4, and nephew Samuel, 16 months. Their mom, is Rylee's sister and fellow DWTS pro Lindsay Arnold. Rylee and Stephen, 26, scooted out after chatting with Good Morning America.
  
  
• Brandon, 30, seemed upset, and Chandler, 24, gave shorter answers than usual while speaking to reporters on the red carpet. The pair were immediately met with support from their loved ones, with Chandler's Zombies family coming by her side and Brandon's wife Brylee sticking around during press.
  
  
• Alan was emotional following his second place finish and was very comforting and congratulatory of Ilona.
  
  
• Other couples from the season like model Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko and Bachelorette Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber returned for the finale after creating much speculation offscreen about their romantic relationships. Brooks, 27, walked around with a big diamond on her ring finger all night and couldn’t keep her hands off of Gleb, 41.

• Jenn, 27, and Sasha, 40, stuck together the whole night as well, but they didn’t do as much flirty touching as Brooks and Gleb despite the Bachelorette alum previously mentioning that she may be moving in with the dance pro in Los Angeles.
  
  
• Jonathan Johnson from Jenn's Bachelorette season was back in the audience and immediately went to hug her and Sasha after the show.
