Quite a few tour dates have been canceled or postponed due to inclement weather so far this year. One of those dates was opening night in Richmond, Virginia.

Fans Reacted to the DWTS Tour Announcement

Shortly after the message was shared online, dozens of fans took to the comments section to react. While fans expecting to attend tonight’s show were understandably bummed out, most understood that safety is of utmost importance.

“Tour should go from west, south to east next year. Take advantage of the warmer temps,” one person suggested.

“I completely understand. Of course I wish I was there but at the same time I’m excited to hopefully be there at a time where we hopefully won’t have to worry about weather as much,” someone else said.

“Hoping they will reschedule soon! I was so excited as this was my first one,” a third comment read.

“Totally understand but dang we were so looking forward to it,” a fourth Instagram user added.

The DWTS Live Tour Has Been Extended

On February 5, the pros of the DWTS Live Tour helped share some exciting news.

“We are so excited to announce that the tour is extending until April 19th,” an official announcement read.

A total of nine new dates have been added to the tour, with stops in Ohio, New Jersey, and Illinois. Additionally, previously scheduled shows in Richmond, Virginia, and in Buffalo, New York, have been rescheduled.

It’s unknown if the show at Miller High Life Theatre will receive a new date, however, the word “postponed” being used in the announcement suggests that it will.
