Brittany Mahomes' answer about who gets more nervous before big games revealed plenty about her husband Patrick's winning mindset.
The two took part in a round of rapid fire questions with Will Ahmed, the founder and chief executive of WHOOP, on Instagram.
Ahmed asked the pair who went to bed earlier and who is the better sleeper, to which both responded Brittany.
However, Ahmed's next question said it all when it comes to the Kansas City superstar.
"Who is more nervous before a big game," Ahmed asked.
Patrick responded, 'Brittany', and his wife concurred.
Even though their responses consisted of a single word, it emphasised the steely mentality Mahomes possesses when it comes to performing on the field.
It is one that has proved rather fruitful for Mahomes and the Chiefs as he holds a staggering career record of 90 wins and 25 defeats across the regular and postseason.
Three of those victories comprised of Super Bowl triumphs in 2019, 2022 and 2023.
Remarkably that figure could become four should Mahomes guide the Chiefs to an unprecedented third-straight Super Bowl this season.
Another sign that underpins Brittany and Patrick's claim is the fact the latter has made it to the AFC Championship game in every season since 2018 when he took over the starting role from Alex Smith.
It is this record that made it an easy decision for Kansas City to tie Mahomes down on a staggering ten-year, £386million ($503m) contract in 2020.

Mahomes' lack of nerves before games also makes for an interesting comparison to legendary QB Tom Brady, who won seven Super Bowls.
Brady, widely regarded as the best QB of all time, conceded in 2019 that he does get 'a little bit' nervous before games, although it would dissipate the more film he watched and the closer it got to gameday.
The 47-year-old also revealed in 2015 his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen often picked up on his mood swings and would ask him: "What's your problem?"
But in the Mahomes' case, it may very well be Patrick asking Brittany the same question.
Brittany has been there for every step of the journey as they met during their days at Whitehouse High School in Texas.
The pair have two children and announced in July a third was on the way.
They also are co-owners of the Kansas City Current, who compete in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
Patrick and Brittany recently took in the men's final at the US Open between Jannik Sinner and Taylor Fritz in what proved to be a star-studded crowd inside Arthur Ashe Stadium.
They were also in the same area as Mahomes' Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift.
Mahomes and Kelce enjoyed a winning start in their season opener, overcoming the Baltimore Ravens 27-20 last Friday.
It wasn't Mahomes' finest performance as he completed 20 passes from 28 for 291 yards, throwing for a touchdown and an interception.
As for Kelce, he finished the game with three receptions for 34 yards but was unable to haul in a touchdown.
The Chiefs are next in action on Sunday when they take on Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.
