Brock Davies Issues Public Apology to Scheana Shay 5 Years After Affair

Scheana Shay's Husband Brock Davies Issues Apology For Affair

Scheana Shay‘s husband, Brock Davies, has publicly apologized to her for cheating on her early in their relationship.

The “Vanderpump Rules” star’s husband posted a lengthy post to Instagram on July 25, weeks after Shay revealed in her memoir that he had an affair when she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer Moon, in late 2020.

Davies noted that his four years of silence was “intentional” so he could give his wife the “space” to share her side of the story. He added, “For the last two years, we have been privately doing the hard work of rebuilding what I broke. You have seen me as a husband and a father, and that work will never stop. This moment is about publicly owning and taking accountability for my failures.“

Brock Davies Posted an Apology Letter to Scheana Shay

In a second Instagram slide, Davies included a lengthy letter written directly to Shay.

“I’ve spent a long time sitting with the weight of what I did early in our relationship,” he wrote to the Bravo TV alum. “I hurt you. I fully accept that I broke something that should have been sacred between us. You gave me trust, love, and stability. I gave you pain. I carry that with me every day.”

Davies admitted that he “knew there would be consequences both personal and public” when he came clean about his affair. “But none of that compares to what I did to you and our young family,” he wrote to Shay. “I crossed the line that should never have been crossed. I betrayed the woman who believed in me, and in doing so, I damaged something real between us. That is what hurts the most. It was not a lapse in judgment, it was a failure of character, a choice I regret deeply. You do not deserve that kind of betrayal, especially not from someone who promised to protect your heart.”

Davies also clarified that he was not asking for forgiveness from his wife. “I only want you to know how deeply sorry I am for breaking your trust, how seriously I’ve taken the harm I caused, and how thankful I am that you continue to show up for [Summer] and for yourself,” the former rugby pro wrote, adding that he undertood that there was still a long road to healing.

“Together we have built something real, not just as parents but as partners,” Davies concluded. “I am proud of where we are and do not take a moment of it for granted. With all of me, I’m sorry —  Brock.”

Shay “liked” her husband’s post.

Sheana Shay Held on to the Painful Secret for 2 Years

Shay legally married Davies in August 2021, four months after the birth of their daughter. The couple held a second wedding celebration on August 23, 2022, at Dreams Natura Resort & Spa in Cancún, Mexico. The second wedding was filmed for “Vanderpump Rules.”

In her 2025 memoir, “My Good Side,” Shay stunned fans with the revelation that, two years into her marriage, her husband confessed that he had committed adultery.

The “Good as Gold” singer shared that Davies told her “he’d cheated on me two years prior, when we were living in San Diego during the pandemic, while I was pregnant with Summer.” Shay recalled that Davies explained to her that “he was scared about being a father again” (his two children from a previous marriage live in Australia), and that he “chose to deal with it by sleeping with someone else.”

Davies told Shay that the woman he’d cheated with was someone he knew from the gym before they were dating. “One day, while I was at home, pregnant with his child, Brock went to work at his gym, F45 Training East Hillcrest in San Diego, and he ran into her outside,” she wrote. “After reconnecting, he said they began a brief affair.”

“He said he realized he was throwing his second chance at a family away by stepping out and swore to himself that he would never betray me again,” Shay added. “He also pointed out that it was purely physical, never emotional, and he always used protection.”

On the July 25 episode of Shay’s “Scheanangins” podcast, Davies broke his silence on the affair, admitting that he felt “horrible” about cheating on Shay “multiple times” over a three-week period when she was pregnant with their child. “It was a sexual affair,” he admitted. “There was no dating. There was no courting. It was just purely that. Meet up and we’d have sex.”

“I pulled the pin, and then I forgot about it,” he added of how he ended the affair.

To Shay, he also said, “I’m proud of you for telling your story. And I’m sorry for this being a part of your story.”
