Broncos All-Pro Details Optimistic Expectations For 2025

The Denver Broncos‘ arrow is definitely pointing up in the wake of their first playoff appearance since their Super Bowl-winning season back in 2015.

All Pro returner and starting receiver Marvin Mims Jr. seems to be very excited about the team’s prospects heading into 2025.

Denver Broncos receiver, Marvin Mims Jr., during the third quarter against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Wild Card game on January 12, 2025.

Speaking to Sirius XM NFL Radio, Mims outlines the shifting atmosphere within the organization, and how he expects the team to play in this upcoming season.

Marvin Mims Jr. Believes The Broncos Are ‘Hungry’ To Win

“The funny thing is Sean [Payton] hasn’t spoken on it much,” Mims said when asked about what head coach, Sean Payton’s message has been to the team during the offseason. “…You can kind of feel throughout the locker room that everyone is hungry, especially the guys who were here and played in Buffalo last year and got a taste of the playoffs. They know what it’s like, know what it takes to get there…You can really feel that the times are changing for us.”

“People always like to say [the Broncos are in] a ‘win now’ mode. With the way things went last year, I mean we were projected to be last in the league last year and end up making the wild card. Guys that were here last year, they believe. And the guys that are coming in, they want to make an impact too. So I think everyone’s hungry…I feel like we’re really poised and were really level-headed this year and that we’re going to make something happen this year as long as we keep going on each other and just strive to get there.”

How Hopeful Should Broncos Fans Feel About 2025?

Despite the emergence of quarterback, Bo Nix, who is entering his second season in the NFL, the team’s excitement for the season extends far beyond just their signal caller. The defense has the opportunity to become the league’s most dangerous this season, and the offensive line remains one of best in the league.

In fact, the unit was ranked second to just the Philadelphia Eagles‘ offensive line by Pro Football Focus on Monday, who had excellent things to say about the rapidly improved position group – particularly All-Pro guard, Quinn Meinerz.

“All five of Denver’s starting offensive linemen in 2024, each of whom logged more than 800 snaps, return for 2025.” PFF writer Zoltan Buday wrote, “The Broncos’ offensive line led the NFL with a 90.8 PFF pass-blocking efficiency rating last season, allowing only 110 pressures on 677 snaps.

Right guard Quinn Meinerz has emerged as one of the best players at the position, highlighted by his 87.3 PFF overall grade, which ranked second among guards in the league last season.”

Ultimately, no one can say what will happen in the future, particularly for a young, emerging team like Denver – but if they hit their roster’s potential this season, it should be a fun year for Broncos fans.
