Chiefs may have served Dolphins the ultimate disrespect on Super Bowl LVIII ring

The Kansas City Chiefs did the Miami Dolphins so dirty in their Super Bowl LVIII ring ceremony on Thursday night.

On the inside of the ring, it shows every opponent that the Chiefs defeated to claim another Super Bowl championship. In the first round, Kansas City defeated the Dolphins, who sat in the sixth seed. However, on the inside of the ring, it has them listed as a seventh seed. It's unclear if this is just a graphic error by the ring's designer, Jostens, or if the error exists on the physical rings.

Chiefs may have served Dolphins the ultimate disrespect on Super Bowl LVIII ring

It was actually the Pittsburgh Steelers who were the seventh seed in the AFC, and they lost to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card playoffs.

It was enough that the Dolphins didn't make it out of the first round. But to add this on top of it was adding fuel to the fire. Plus it wasn't a fun game for Miami, who was held to just seven points, while they allowed Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to score 26.

However, the Dolphins can use this anger from this ultimate showing of disrespect and instead channel it towards the 2024-25 season. After watching the Chiefs list them as a seventh seed while also receiving a ring with 529 diamonds and 38 rubies, Miami should be hungrier than ever for one of their own.

Yes, the Chiefs have Mahomes and Travis Kelce, but the Dolphins have Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill.

The NFL has officially been put on watch: Miami will only use this as motivation and will come out swinging next season. Be ready.
