Clip of ‘Bachelor’ Grant Ellis Shows Him at ‘Shock’ Ending

The ending of Grant Ellis’s upcoming season of “The Bachelor” will “shock you,” according to ExtraTV.

Extra posted a clip from the season’s final to its YouTube page. “What happens at the end will shock you,” the show’s narrator says before the video pans to Ellis standing with “Bachelor” host Jesse Palmer.

“You feel you know what you want to do?” Palmer asks Ellis in the clip.

“The truth is I don’t know,” Ellis says in the video.

“We have two women on standby. I have to know which one to send first,” Palmer tells him.

Ellis’s season of the show airs on January 27.

ExtraTV’s story includes other clips from the show. “Makeouts and breakdowns,” the video says. It shows clips of women crying.

“And smackdown,” the narrator says, showing a contestant saying, “You talked to him four times today.”

The camera then pans to Ellis saying, “I hope you tune in to watch my new season.” ExtraTV reminds viewers that Ellis was a contestant on Jenn Tran’s season of “The Bachelorette,” but it “didn’t work out” for him.

“It’s surreal,” he told Extra, which reported that the show was on hand as he filmed a new promo. “You know, I’m living in the moment. I can not wait to meet my wife. It’s something that I dream about.”

Extra gave some biographical details for Ellis, saying that he’s 30, a “New Jersey boy,” a day trader, and a “Momma’s boy,” who lives in Houston, Texas.

He is a former professional basketball player who played overseas until he was injured, and he is the second Black “Bachelor” in the franchise’s history, according to Extra.

“It’s hard to find somebody, you know. There’s so many options and dating apps here and there,” he told Extra. “I want to show people that if you put your all into it you can find a long-lasting relationship. That’s meaningful because I saw it with my grandparents.”

Ellis also outlined to Extra what kind of a woman he is looking for in a partner. “Somebody who’s compassionate and somebody with good judgment and good character,” he said.

He also outlined some of the “red flags” he will be looking for during the show.

“You’ve got to smell good. You can’t be smelling like some ‘Beetlejuice,'” he said, mentioning the Hollywood movie. “You can’t be too self-absorbed.”

He added, “You have to take other people into consideration; that’s something big for me also.”

The show then switched to a clip showing a contestant on Ellis’s season calling another contestant a “backstabber.”

“The goal is to fall in love and that’s something I’m trying to do,” Elllis reiterated.
