Craig Conover is cross-stitching crossing over from selling pillows to adult beverages.
…An interesting business move considering his friend/Summer House co-star, Kyle Cooke, owns a similar business.
Spritz Society (aka – not Loverboy):
Craig took to his Instagram grid to share his latest business venture. In a promotional video he paired with James Brown’s ‘I Feel Good,’ Craig’s voiceover stated, “Spritz Society – Lemon Iced Tea, by Craig Conover.”
He captioned his post, “The news is finally out! In 2023, I discovered Spritz Society’s canned cocktails on the way to a concert. I instantly fell in love with them and knew I had to get involved somehow.”
“A year later, I am proud to announce that I’ve partnered with Spritz Society to develop my own signature flavor, Lemon Iced Tea! Every sip tastes like home to me and I can’t wait to share it with you.”
Andy Cohen entered the chat:
Bravo TV‘s daddy slid into the comments of Craig’s post to chime in on his Loverboy ‘cheater brand.’
“Not since Coke v Pepsi have we seen a spritz war like this….”
Fans loved the low-key shade Craig sent Kyle’s direction. “Leave it to Craig to serve up some tea,” commented a social media user. Another wrote, “Somewhere in NY Kyle’s head just exploded.”
Loverboy‘s POV:
Kyle was rather aloof when the topic was first mentioned on WWHL in May. However, during the After Show, he spilled the (canned) tea. “The founder took me out to dinner days before they inked the deal and failed to mention any of that,” Kyle began.
“Really shady operation.” From Kyle’s perception, Craig claimed he wasn’t aware of Loverboy’s robust offerings. Kyle alleged this was a reason Craig opted to invest in Spritz. “We launched our espresso martini while we were filming Winter House, he knows we don’t just do teas.”
“If anything, the company you just invested in took a page out of our book, and launched a copy cat a year and a half later.” Messy Andy asked Kyle if Craig Conover has a history of lying, which he replied, “that’s what I’ve been told.
