Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo may not yet be engaged or married, but the Southern Charm cast member is already thinking about their future family.
Craig revealed as much while opening up about how his dedication to his professional life — which includes Sewing Down South, two restaurants, a spritz line, and more — is influenced by his desire to have kids.
"I'm really business-focused right now, but that just comes from wanting to build stuff for our future family," Craig said to E! News. "I think I'm very family-oriented, as in, I wanna have a good foundation so that, when the kids come, I can be with them as much as possible. Your priorities shift a little bit."
As he's gotten older and matured, Craig's been more mindful about how he spends his time.
"I've made a lot of changes in my life over the last two years," he shared. "As you try to start to grow up and be better, it pulls you out of different activities that you used to do."
Instead of having his social life dominate, Craig is trying to put an extra emphasis on his career.
"You gotta wake up and put one foot in front of the other. You never have it all figured out," he said. "We're all just doing this for the first time, no one actually knows what they're doing completely. We're just trying our best. I'm still trying to figure out life, but I will say that it's fun to have my hand in a lot of different arenas."
Why Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo aren't ready for kids just yet
Though Craig and the Summer House-mate have been getting a lot of questions from their friends and fans alike about when they'll take the next step in their romance, the two still aren't feeling any pressure to have kids or walk down the aisle.
"When I get married and have a baby, I want to be so in it," Paige told PEOPLE back in August. "And I would feel like a fraud if I said to Craig, 'Okay, let's just get married and have a baby because everyone is pressuring us.'"
Like Craig, Paige is also fully focused on her career at the minute — which includes her fashion contributions, Summer House, and her Giggly Squad tour, podcast, and upcoming book.
"I want to fully take in this experience because I know it's going to go so fast," she said about all of her recent career accomplishments. "I worked for it, and I'm excited for it."
