Conor McGregor has crossed paths with Mike Perry for the first time since he fired BKFC’s biggest star.

McGregor headed up the inaugural BKFC 2025 Champions Summit and State of the Promotion Press Conference this week in Hollywood, Florida.

During the conference, McGregor announced exciting developments for the sport.

Including new signings and a massive $25million open-weight tournament.

McGregor also announced that Perry will be coming back to the ring on October 11.

Attention remained on the pair as the conference's seating arrangement forced them to meet for the first time since the firing occurred.

McGregor fired Perry last summer, following the ‘King of Violence’ getting knocked out by YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.

When his original bout with Mike Tyson was pushed back a few months, Perry stepped up to get in the ring with Paul.

'The Problem Child' dropped Perry in the first, second and sixth rounds before winning via technical knockout in the sixth round of their bout.

It’s been almost a year since that incident.

When Perry was asked about it, he took the opportunity to call the Irishman out for a potential fight in the squared circle.

He said: “I think it makes a lot of sense because we haven’t seen Conor in the ring in a while.

“But I know he loves bare knuckle and I’d love to face off against him any time. Any time we’re looking for the action.”

McGregor was fiery in his response, hitting back by saying : “You’re welcome back because I welcomed you back. October 11 is your date and you’ll dance for me, boy. You’ll dance for the owner.”

Following Perry's long-awaited fighting return, McGregor did allude to there being a potential opportunity there for American to fight him.

Assuming he delivers in the two final fights of his UFC deal first.

He revealed: “We’ve got one hell of an announcement of an opponent for you.

"One of the baddest men to ever grace the Ultimate Fighting Championship when it comes to bare knuckle, and he’s going to throw down with you in front of me for my viewing pleasure."

While he didn't reject Perry's offer to fight, the Irishman emphasised he feels the American needs to prove himself.

"And then I’ll decide if you’re worthy,” he said.
