Former “DWTS” pro Sharna Burgess says her son Zane, whom she shares with fiancé Brian Austin Green, is adjusting well to being a big brother. Green’s ex-wife Megan Fox welcomed a daughter with Machine Gun Kelly in March of 2025, and 3-year-old Zane couldn’t be happier. “They’re deeply in love,” Burgess told People. “She is the absolute cutest thing, and it’s really beautiful.”
Burgess also shared that while Zane clearly has a soft spot for his little sis, he’s going through a phase pretty common for his age. “He is definitely our little dictator at the moment, but it’s the best,” she said. “…he’s the most wonderful, amazing kid.”
Burgess’s Happy, Blended Tribe

Fox and MGK’s baby girl is the newest addition to an already big, blended family. Burgess and Green’s son Zane also has four older brothers, Kassius, 23, whom Green shares with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil, and Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8, whom he shares with Fox. MGK also has a daughter from a previous relationship, Casie Colson Baker, who turns 16 in July 2025.
According to Burgess, being a part of a big family is something like a childhood dream come true. “When I was a kid, and even when I was manifesting my life, I wanted a big family,” she said, revealing that at one point she wasn’t sure if it would happen as she got older. “…somehow the universe still provided this unbelievably big family and tribe with amazing kids in it.”
And Burgess sees the age gap between Zane and his older siblings as a positive thing in the family’s dynamic. “He has such a big, beautiful tribe around him, and it’s really cool…The kids are amazing and they’ve become built-in babysitters.”
Burgess and Green Are Considering Expanding Their Family
Burgess met Hallmark star Green in 2022 and they welcomed Zane that same year. The couple is considering having another child, perhaps in the near future. “We’ve talked about getting pregnant at some point next year,” the dancer said.
Even though Green underwent a vasectomy after Zane was born, it left the door open for he and Burgess to try for another child. “He knew that birth control made me feel crazy, so he said, ‘Let me handle it,’ Burgess said. “It was never ‘no more babies.’ It was just about protecting my health.” She also revealed that the couple would likely use IVF in order to get pregnant again.
Burgess and Green do have plans to get married, but it seems as though timing is everything. “…I don’t want to be pregnant or in postpartum when we do. I’d love to have that next baby and maybe even have them carried down the aisle,” the “DWTS” alum said.
