‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pro Sends Plea to Taylor Swift

So many people would love to grab even a moment of Taylor Swift’s time, and that includes “Dancing With the Stars” professional, Alan Bersten. He isn’t exactly hiding in the shadows either, because on June 14, 2025, he made a special request to the celebrated pop star.

On TikTok, Bersten said, “So, Taylor, you have the chance to make me the coolest uncle ever,” before turning the camera to his five nieces sitting on a couch and waving as they exclaimed, “Hi, Taylor!”

The “DWTS” pro is really hoping for an eventual response from Taylor Swift, which doesn’t seem that far beyond the realm of possibility. The whole situation started innocently enough.

His recent TikTok post started with a clip of his Season 33 dance partner, Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher, chatting with Kylie Kelce on the June 12, 2025, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce” podcast.

Kelce said to Maher, “One of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen is your relationship with your partner, Alan.”

All it took was a game of mental connect-the-dots for Bersten to muster up the courage to make a direct plea to Taylor Swift.

“So you’re telling me Kylie Kelce knows who I am?” he said. “Which means she would have told her husband, Jason Kelce, and Jason obviously would have told his brother, Travis Kelce, who I am. And he definitely would have told Taylor Swift. Which means, essentially, Taylor Swift knows who I am,” he said in the TikTok clip.

Naturally, the professional dancer’s legion of followers took to the comments section of his video to help champion his cause. One shared, “Girl math at its finest,” and another chimed in saying, “This is GENIUS LEVEL mathing.”

Other fans cheered Bersten on, saying, “This may be the biggest FLEX in TikTok history! You go Cool Uncle…” and “This would be amazing if Taylor saw it! Definitely a cool uncle moment waiting to happen.”

Of course, a few others suggested that Taylor Swift might just be the perfect partner for Alan Bersten on an upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars.”

So far, Taylor Swift has yet to respond to Alan’s plea, and even if she doesn’t, you’ve got to give the guy credit for being brave enough to ask for one.
