Season 19 “Dancing With the Stars” runner up Sadie Robertson is set to return to reality television alongside her family.
On January 22, A&E announced that “Duck Dynasty” was getting a reboot.
“Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home. We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures,” Willie Robertson and his wife Korie said in a statement that was part of the official press release.
The network also confirmed the return of other members of the Robertson family when the show premieres in the summer of 2025. The cast includes Sadie and her family as well as John Luke, Will, Bella and Rebecca.
Sadie Robertson Posted About the Reboot
“Duck Dynasty” fans will see a different side of Sadie Robertson when the show returns to television this summer. She is now married and is a mom.
“Our family is going back home to A&E with #DuckDynasty: The Revival,” she wrote on Instagram.
“It’s wild to think how much has changed, but also how much has stayed the same. New kids, new spouses, new businesses, new fun…ALL the generations and no end to the adventures (and yes, probably some misadventures too,” she added.
A&E posted the reboot news on socials, where many fans reacted.
“SO SO SO SO EXCITED!!!!!! A show my whole family would watch together!!” one person commented on A&E’s Instagram post about the reboot.
“We are so excited! One of the few shows our whole family loves! My kids are binge watching the old ones now that they are teens,” someone else added.
“Whoop! So excited for this! I’ve been praying for good, uplifting, quality entertainment. Thank you, Lord,” a third comment read.
“I’ve been watching them since I was like 5 years old. I’m 19 now. it’s pretty much become a tradition. I absolutely can’t wait for this,” a fourth fan said.
Phil Robertson Won’t Be a Part of the ‘Duck Dynasty’ Reboot
There’s one person in particular who won’t be returning to “Duck Dynasty” and that’s patriarch Phil Robertson.
In December 2024, the Robertson family confirmed that Phil had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
“According to the doctors, they’re sure that he has some sort of blood disease that’s causing all kinds of problems. It’s accelerated and it’s causing problems with his entire body,” Jase Robertson said on a December episode of the “Unashamed With the Robertson Family” podcast.
