DWTS Pro Unlikely to Return for Season 34

“Dancing With the Stars” pro Lindsay Arnold probably won’t be returning to the show for season 34. The reason? She’s hoping to be pregnant!

Arnold previously explained that she is planning to undergo a breast augmentation and lift. She said it’s something that she was going to wait until after she was done having kids to do. This caused quite a few people to ask if she and Cusick were done having kids.

In a video shared to TikTok on December 27, Arnold shared her reasoning.

“No. We are not done having babies. I feel like my plans and timeline has just shifted quite a bit,” she explained. She went on to say that she and Cusick wanted to start trying for a third baby in December 2024. When the time came, however, Arnold said that she didn’t feel ready.

She does feel as though she’d like to start trying for a third baby in 2025. She also mentioned baby number four, which suggests that she and her husband want a big family.

Many Fans Don’t Think Lindsay Arnold Will Compete on DWTS Again

After Arnold shared her video on TikTok, some fans took to Reddit to react.

“I don’t think she will ever return. She’s definitely moved on. Idk why people think she will,” one person wrote.

“This woman has BEEN done with DWTS (as a pro) lol. She probably makes more on all her endorsements anyhow and she seems to thoroughly enjoy simply supporting Rylee,” someone else said.

“She’s not coming back unless the show is still going when her kids are way older. Her husband works full time, year round in Utah and doesn’t plan to leave his job. Her sisters all have kids or are on the show now, so the help she had when it was just Sage going back and forth doesn’t exist. She’s pretty much said it. She just keeps saying ‘maybe in the future’ for engagement on social media,” a third comment.

Lindsay Arnold Said She’d Like to Compete Against Her Sister on the Show

Arnold left “Dancing With the Stars” after season 30. She took some time off to stay back in Utah with her husband, Sam Cusick, and their two daughters, Sage and June. However, in a 2024 interview, Arnold teased that she could possibly return to compete for a Mirrorball Trophy.

“The only thing that I think would be cool and something that I didn’t even think was possible was getting to compete alongside my baby sister,” Arnold said in an interview with She Knows Soaps.

Meanwhile, in another interview earlier in 2024, Arnold said that she isn’t totally closing the door on the show.

“I’ve never really said, like, ‘I’m done forever.’ And that’s still my answer. Like, I’m not done forever, but I also don’t have a set, like, ‘in one year, I will start doing ‘Dancing With the Stars’ again. I’m just going to have to take it a year at a time,” she said on the “Off the Vine” podcast in January 2024.

With a possible baby on the way in 2025, it seems safe to assume that season 34 is off the table for Arnold.
