Emily ‘taking down Alexis’ is a type of ‘bullying’ RHOC fans can accept

RHOC fans are in agreement this fall when it comes to their stance on Emily Simpson. While most agree they’re “mad” at Emily, many are backing her comments aimed at Alexis Bellino during the season 18 reunion.

The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion was so explosive that Bravo picked cameras back up after the show was meant to have wrapped filming. Speaking on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, host Andy said Shannon Beador “read Alexis down,” but it seems the real hero of season 18 is Emily for die-hard fans.

‘Emily takes Alexis down’

This year, more things are going down at the Real Housewives reunions that have never happened before.

The “traditional” style reunion was scrapped for the Real Housewives of New Jersey after the ladies built up too much beef between them.

And, on RHOC, Andy Cohen tells SiriusXM listeners how after cameras went down, they got picked up again due to the drama being so intense on Andy Cohen Live.

He said: “We picked up cameras either the day after the reunion or two days after the reunion, and you will be very surprised by what we shot and what happened. So that is tonight in part three of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion.”

By the looks of things, the RHOC cast is the gift that keeps on giving and fans are taking to Reddit to share how “entertained” they are by Emily, Shannon, and co.

“That was so satisfying to watch lol Emily has been a bully during the entire reunion, but watching her take down Alexis was this season’s highlight for me,” writes one viewer.

Another says: “Idk, I kinda love Emily! She’s not perfect, but she’s entertaining as hell! And I love that she holds everyone accountable, explains the legal stuff, and uses her knowledge to call out Alexis…”

Fans are ‘mad’ at Emily about something else

Given how the cameras were picked up for a RHOC reunion part three, it’s safe to say season 18 was drama-filled.

The juicy season has some viewers dubbing Emily a “mean girl” for her behavior towards newcomer Katie Ginella.

More say the star comes across as “desperate” during the reunion, writing: “Emily was inserting herself in every conversation.”

Others add on the Reddit thread: “Emily needed to hear her own voice too much this reunion, but the last part was perfection.”

And it seems many agree as another pens: “The last part of the reunion redeemed Emily for me. She was the only one that was openly disgusted with what was going on…”

Lots say they were happy to see Emily “tell Alexis off” and another writes how she’s their new “favorite,” explaining:

“I love Emily. Anything that was slightly off before was redeemed. I thought she was great and brilliant and she’s become my favorite. I also love that she didn’t care what she looked like when they were asking her to adjust. I love that she is smart and cares enough about those around her to speak.”
