Former “Dancing With the Stars” pro Lacey Schwimmer popped up on Emma Slater’s Instagram post with a clear message: “Hard launch!”
On December 26, 2024, Slater shared a few pictures from her trip to the UK. While fans deduced that Slater traveled across the pond with her rumored boyfriend — DWTS pro Alan Bersten — he didn’t appear in any of the pics.
“In Brum bab, yam alright our kid?” Slater captioned the Instagram post, adding the British flag emoji.
“HARD LAUNCH ALREADY GIRL HAHAHA,” Schwimmer wrote in the comments.
Rumors that Slater and Bersten are an item have been circulating for years.
Shortly after Schwimmer commented on Slater’s post, some fans took to Reddit to react. For the most part, fans thought Schwimmer’s comment was “messy.”

The main issue that seems to be occurring is that rumors that the two were together started circulating before Slater’s divorce from Sasha Farber. While it’s unclear exactly when Slater and Bersten may have started dating, this seems to be the going theory about why they may be keeping things hush-hush.
Slater filed for divorce from Farber in 2023. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Meanwhile, in an interview on “The Viall Files” podcast in August 2023, Slater opened up about her split, blaming Farber’s desire to start a family.
“It’s really the kid thing,” she said. “Which seems very interesting because I do want to have kids. I just don’t want to delay Sasha’s path in having kids because I think — I know — that he is ready for that. I don’t want to talk about him too much because that’s really for him to say, but it’s about kids,” she added.
