Golden Bachelor’s Susan Noles Falls for a Frenchman She Met on Tinder: ‘He’s the Real Deal’

The Golden Bachelor’s Susan NolesSusan Noles is one step closer to finding her happily ever after.

During the Sunday, April 20, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour” podcast, Noles, 67, confirmed she has a “wonderful” new boyfriend she met via Tinder.

“I’ve been holding onto this secret for a little bit now,” she told cohost Kathy Swarts. “I did meet someone, and I know I’ve been talking about being single because I didn’t know where it was going to go. I know what I felt but I wanted to make sure we were both on the same page, and I just have to share that we are.”

Noles said she met her new boyfriend, whose name is Frederic, during a trip to St. Martin with Swarts, 71. Although he speaks very little English, the two have been able to communicate through a translation app.

“We were having fun and we were just seeing where things are going, and now I can honestly say, he’s the real deal. I have found my person,” she said. “He’s wonderful. It was my turn and thank God.”

The romance caught Noles completely by surprise after recalling a night on vacation when she couldn’t sleep.

In a surprise move, she decided to go on Tinder and swipe on Frederic’s profile. They met at a restaurant — with Swarts tagging along — and the rest is history.

“See everybody, it does work when you least expect it, and trust and believe me. I used to be on all the dating sites forever so I tried it,” Noles said about the romance, which started in February. “They don’t make them like this. I don’t know where it came from, but I’m blessed. I feel blessed.”

Bachelor Nation met Noles when she vied for the affections of Gerry Turner on season 1 of The Golden Bachelor, which aired in 2023. (Turner, 72, ultimately popped the question to Theresa Nist, whom he tied the knot with in 2024, but the pair split months later.)

In recent months, Noles has expressed hopes that she would be cast in the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise.

“We’ll be there,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2024. “I love that there would be seniors there [who are] my age, where I could wear a bikini because they’re not going to look any better.”

Ultimately, Noles decided against participating in the ABC reality show “because I found the love of my life.”

“I can’t even explain this feeling,” she expressed. “I think he is everything I’ve ever dreamed of.”
