Heather Dubrow's Daughter Kat Looked So Grown Up in Her Senior Prom Dress

Another day, another big milestone for Kat Dubrow.

Weeks after announcing her Ivy League college pick, The Real Housewives of Orange County daughter headed off to the final dance of her high school career. That’s right, Heather Dubrow and Dr. Terry Dubrow’s youngest daughter just had her senior prom.

The OC mom shared the special night in a series of Instagram photos in which Kat posed alongside her parents and date. The 18-year-old has clearly developed a strong sense of personal style, as she attended the formal in a simple yet chic black gown that echoed the look she wore to her junior prom.

Kat’s 2025 prom dress was a strapless piece with a straight neckline and subtle A-line skirt. She rocked an elegant middle-part hairstyle and kept the accessories to a minimum, opting for a delicate clover pendant necklace. It was a timeless look that went perfectly with her date’s classic black suit.

“Prom 2025,” Heather captioned the Stories. “Love our girl.”

The OC Housewife also took the time to gush over the elaborate photo backdrop, which featured a huge “2025” marquee surrounded by blue, gray, and white balloons. Heather credited the setup to Balloon & Paper and event production agency Sophia Parsa Events.

“Cutest set up for prom!” Heather wrote in another Story. “Thank you [Sophia Parsa].”

Kat is now preparing to leave the West Coast and start her college chapter in New Haven, Connecticut. This fall, the award-winning filmmaker will begin her first semester at Yale University, where she will major in film studies. Heather teased her daughter’s college plans back in August 2024, telling BravoTV.com that Kat was eyeing different liberal arts programs. 

“Kat is going to be a senior in high school,” Heather said at the time. “She wants to go to school for film, so she’s applying now.”

Shortly after confirming her Yale decision, Kat celebrated with a “bed party” — a relatively new trend in which college-bound students decorate their rooms with the university colors and merch. Heather showed off the celebration in a sweet April 24 Instagram post.

“CONGRATULATIONS KATARINA!!!!” she captioned the carousel, which included photos of Kat's fabulous Yale cake. “We are so proud of you and excited to watch you SHINE in college !!!! WE LOVE YOU !!!!!”
