Jenn Tran met Sasha Farber literally hours after the public found out the fate of her season of The Bachelorette. She ended up engaged to one of the contestants on Season 21, Devin Strader. But Jenn revealed during the emotional After The Final Rose special that they had already broken up less than a month after filming the engagement. Despite her heartbreak, Jesse Palmer aired the proposal footage. Many viewers slammed the move as cold-hearted. It was used as one example of why The Bachelorette was unexpectedly put on pause after Jenn’s season.
Jenn Tran was announced as a contestant on Season 33 of Dancing With The Stars the very next morning after ATFR. She flew overnight from Los Angeles to New York City to make the announcement on Good Morning America. She was paired with pro dancer Sasha Farber. The two later revealed that they met for the first time at the airport hours before the GMA appearance.
During her time on DWTS, Bachelor Nation fans saw major chemistry between Jenn and Sasha. Their routines sparked romance rumors, and the pair leaned into the rumors, teasing their relationship on social media.
Jenn Tran even moved in with Sasha while she was in L.A. for DWTS. But then she made a major life change that sparked breakup rumors. What happened?
Before she was on Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelor, Jenn Tran was a college student earning a Physician’s Assistant degree at school in Miami, Florida. She put her schooling on hold while she filmed The Bachelorette and competed on Dancing With The Stars. However, she always assured fans that she planned to return to school and get her degree. She made good on that promise in March 2025.
But from the time she was eliminated from DWTS up until she moved back to Miami, she was constantly with Sasha Farber. The two never officially confirmed they were in a relationship. Jenn Tran said that they were taking it one day at a time and not labeling whatever it was between them.
But Jenn and Sasha constantly posting videos together on social media convinced some fans that they were exclusively dating and in a relationship. Now any time she posts anything, the comment section is flooded with questions about Sasha. Fans demand to know where he is and if they’re still together.
The former DWTS contestant had enough of the questions and took to her Instagram Story to address them once and for all. She shared a meme of a podcast episode with the quote, “You were not put on this earth to be someone’s wife or husband. You are here to fulfill your dreams, share your story, and create a big, beautiful, amazing life.”
Jenn Tran recently fulfilled one dream by becoming a foster mom.
Some fans took the post as confirmation that her relationship with Sasha was done. However, others thought it was a broader point that Jenn isn’t defined by her romantic relationships. In fact, many fans don’t think Sasha and Jenn were ever in a romantic relationship and only pretended for social media clout.
Do you think Jenn Tran’s cryptic post was meant to confirm the breakup? Sound off in the comments.
