Jenn Tran Reveals Her Patients’ Reactions to Her Being Their Physician Assistant After Bachelorette and DWTS (Exclusive)

After completing her stints on The Bachelorette season 21 and Dancing with the Stars season 33, the 27-year-old reality TV star told PEOPLE how school is going so far and if patients recognize her.

“I actually just went back to P.A. school a couple weeks ago,” Tran says at the Cape Radiance Gala red carpet in Los Angeles on March 24, noting that it’s been a year since she left to film The Bachelorette in March 2024.

“I now live in Miam — just moved back, saw my first few patients the other day back in the hospital. I’m very excited,” she adds. “It’s been incredible.”

Tran also revealed that she doesn’t really get recognized by patients.

“It is kind of weird, surprisingly, no,” she admits. “I was actually really nervous about that, because I was like, ‘Oh, what is that gonna be like and how is that gonna affect the provider-patient relationship.’ But the hospitals that I’ve been working at, a lot of them haven’t seen The Bachelor or Bachelorette or Dancing with the Stars."

“It’s a safe space,” she emphasizes of the patients’ expectations.

Tran confirmed to PEOPLE that reality TV is “taking a back seat” to school.

“No more hiatuses from P.A. school, I promised my mom. But after P.A. school, we’ll see,” teases Tran, who attended the Cape Radiance Gala with her former Dancing with the Stars partner Sasha Farber, 40.
