Former “Bachelorette” Jenn Tran has shared big new plans for her career.
According to People Magazine, the former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant plans “to complete her master’s degree and pursue a career as a physician’s assistant.”
“Honestly, I will say it’s really intimidating to go back,” Tran told People.
“I didn’t realize how much time I had taken off until now,” she told the magazine. “I’m starting the process of getting my paperwork in and registering for my courses again, because I’m going to go back in March.”

According to People, Tran paused her master’s degree to appear on reality TV, which started with her turn as a contestant on “The Bachelor.”
“I have a lot of work before going back to school, just refresher courses and things like that to get back to the level that I was at,” she told People.
The magazine noted that Tran has a year left to finish the degree. “I am going back, and it’s just going to take time and a lot of hard work, but it’s something that I’m so passionate about,” she told People. “I’ve been wanting to study medicine my whole life, and it’s just something that feels like I would regret if I didn’t finish.”

Meanwhile, Tran has done nothing to quell romance rumors with her DWTS partner, Sasha Farber.
She shared a video to her Instagram page showing the couple looking close.
On December 29, Tran shared a video showing her on a plane and indicating that she will miss her mother after spending Christmas at home.
She also shared a collage of photos showing the different dresses that she wore in 2024. Another collage of photos showed Tran in front of a Christmas tree with her family. In December, she posted pictures showing her and Farber dressed as the Grinch.
In September, she wrote of her journey as “The Bachelorette,” which did not end up with lasting love, “It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions these past couple of months. I truly couldn’t have done it without you all. For everyone who saw themselves in me, whether it was past you or present you or future you…. We are all trying our best to be the best version of ourselves. We are not defined by one moment, one circumstance, one experience, one mistake or one heartbreak. We are defined by how we actively choose to grow from it.”
