According to recent reports, the cast members returning to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have already received their contracts. The usual suspects, such as Erika Jayne and Kyle Richards, have been asked back. Newbie Bozoma Saint John made enough of an impact to get a contract for her sophomore season. Meanwhile, Jennifer Tilly remains coy as to what her role will be for Season 15.
Jennifer joined as a friend of the cast, mainly Sutton Stracke’s friend though. And while both ladies are confirmed to be returning, there is a potential for the Chucky star to be participate with the cast in a greater capacity. Then there’s talk of new cast members joining.
Jennifer Tilly says “one or two new” housewives will join the RHOBH Season 15 cast
Jennifer exclusively told TooFab that “all bets are off” this coming season due to the change-ups within the cast. Of course, there was also Garcelle Beauvais’ shock resignation at the Season 14 reunion. Then news broke that Sutton’s assistant left her employ for greener pastures.
“There’s been a big shift, because Avi [Sutton’s assistant] is no longer coming back, Garcelle’s [Beauvais] not coming back. I gather there’s going to be one or two new, exciting housewives. Some of the pre-existing housewives have some challenges that are well documented in the tabloid media. So I think it’s going to be a powder keg next season,” Jennifer explained.
The professional poker player is using her game face and keeping her “lips sealed” on the matter of whether she will return as a housewife or a “friend of.”
Jennifer said, “I really did enjoy being a friend of this season. Because you can dip in and dip out. You’re not too deep into the drama. But you know what? You never know. You never know.”
Jennifer predicts difficulties for Sutton next season
The actress does get involved with the drama where it concerns her friend Sutton. And she feels Sutton lost back-up with Garcelle leaving. As for the producer, Jennifer knows she will be “just fine” without RHOBH.
“I was so disappointed when Garcelle left because I love Garcelle. I got to know her a lot better this season. She’s just so warm and wonderful. She’d laugh at my jokes, which is really important,” she shared.
Jennifer continued, “I think it’s gonna be hard on Sutton because Sutton and Garcelle were so close and I think that’s gonna be difficult for Sutton.”
Perhaps the RHOBH cast needs more from Jennifer in the form of her friend group offscreen. She did recommend some potential new cast members to Bravo, without getting any confirmation one way or another.
“I did recommend a bunch of people, but I don’t know what’s going to happen. I think they’re adding one … It’s all super private. But I think they have a really good pool to choose from. I think whoever comes in is going to be really fabulous,” Jennifer teased.
