Joey Graziadei Makes History as First Bachelor to Advance to the ‘DWTS’ Finale

Making history!

Former Bachelor Joey Graziadei has been competing for the past several weeks on Season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars” with his dance partner Jenna Johnson.

Each week, the two have performed dances showcasing different styles and Joey has been shining in each one.

With every performance, Joey and Jenna have received higher and higher scores, leading them to achieve their first perfect score of the season this week during the semifinals.

The pair’s total score for the evening and amount of votes received carried them into the finals for next week, making Joey the first ever Bachelor to advance to the finale in “DWTS” history!

Joey opened up in an interview with US Weekly about how he’s feeling on achieving this accomplishment.

He said, “It’s unbelievable… It was a great night… We knew we had two dances that we loved and just to have everything come together, to have it kind of be what it was, it’s everything we’ve hoped for. So right now, I’m just really happy.”

The former Bachelor also discussed that while he’s celebrating this amazing moment, he’s already preparing for the season finale.

“My mind’s just thinking, ‘OK, next week, next week, gotta do it again,’” he shared.

Joey also posted a clip on Instagram of his and Jenna’s dance that received a perfect score and shared his gratitude for all the support from Bachelor Nation fans.

He wrote, “Our first perfect score!!! We cannot believe that we made it to the Finale 😱 Thank you everyone for the continued love and support. We are going to put our all into this week and do what we can to try and bring this thing home 🪩”

Joey’s fiancée Kelsey Anderson also posted on her Instagram about how excited she is to see him and Jenna in the finale next week.

Alongside a series of photos from the semifinals, she said, “JOEY & JENNA ARE GOING TO THE FINALE EVERYONE STAY CALM!!?!! 🕺🏼”

Kelsey has been in the ballroom every week supporting her fiancé and sharing on social media about how proud she is of him killing it on the dance floor.
