Julianne Hough has had a phenomenal journey on “Dancing With the Stars,” starting in 2007 as a professional dancer, and then becoming a judge and now co-host alongside Alfonso Ribeiro. As the ABC dancing competition heads into Season 34, fans are eager for more news to be revealed, and Hough has teased something that could make many people very excited: she feels that Season 34 could be the “biggest season yet.”
n an interview with The Wrap on June 14, Hough shed light on the upcoming season. Although she was not able to offer more insight into who would be joining the celebrity competitors this year (so far, only wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and social media star Alix Earle have been confirmed), she did discuss how the dancing competition appealed to people of all ages.
“We’ve seen multigenerations follow the show for years, but now, the babies that were born when their parents first started watching the show are now 18, and they’re creating their own new generation of people who love the show,” Hough said. “There’s just been this whole new resurgence of life like back into the show.”
But does Hough know who will be cast on Season 34? If she does, she’s not sharing that information. “I am like everyone else at the moment, where I have no idea who else is on the show, and I’m just as intrigued to find out as everyone else,” Hough told The Wrap. “There’s an energy around the show right now, and I feel like it’s gonna be our biggest season yet.”
Hough is right that there has been a buzz surrounding Season 34, and fans are thrilled with the inclusion of Irwin and Earle. But there are also many theories about who could be joining them.
A few names that have been thrown into the mix include Dylan Efron, who won over fans with his appearance on “The Traitors,” and “Summer House” star Ciara Miller. Fans of Taylor Swift are also hoping she will appear on the show in some capacity, even if it is just in the audience to support a loved one, which is why Jason Kelce’s name has been mentioned as being perfect for the upcoming season. Although his wife, Kylie Kelce, has stated she has no interest in showing off her moves.
