Comedian Kathy Griffin wants to be the next “Golden Bachelorette.“

Griffin, 64, former star of Bravo’s “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List,” made the comments on the Politickin‘ podcast.

“I think I should be the next ‘Golden Bachelorette'” Griffin told hosts Gavin Newsom, Doug Hendrickson, and Marshawn Lynch, “Okay, So Kathy Griffin’s the ‘Golden Bachelorette.’ The first episode where there’s the most bachelors and the most roses, I (expletive) each one, each one, and then I decide.” She said she wanted “no hidden cameras, just a little blurring here and there for the cellulite. Boom! Ratings gold.”

Joan Vassos, 61, was the first ‘Golden Bachelorette.” The network has not yet announced whether there will be a second season. Vassos chose Chock Chapple in the season finale.

One of the Co-Hosts Told Kathy Griffin, ‘Maybe We Can Make That Happen’

One of the co-hosts on the podcast, Hendrickson, commented that he has an in with the show.

“Kathy, you might need a better agent . . . Having said that, I know people at the Bachelor right maybe we can make that happen,” he said on the podcast.

The podcast aired on November 25. It’s not clear whether the “Golden Bachelorette” producers would actually be interested in having the controversial Griffin as a show lead.

Griffin opened up about her “Bravo” show and former reality TV boss Andy Cohen.

“Now that’s a tough one,” she said on the podcast. “Like I said, he was my boss and I got canned. And I loved working at Bravo. I loved doing specials and I had a talk show there for two seasons. And My Life on the D-List was Emmy nominated every season and won twice,” she said on the show.

She added: “I’m not his cup of tea.”

According to People Magazine, Griffin is divorced from ex-husband Randy Bick, who she was married to for four years before their 2023 split.

“As corny as it sounds, if anything can restore my broken heart, it’s hearing the laughter from the audiences all over America and Canada,” she said to People previously. “I’m looking at you Europe, you better call me next.” She said in that interview that she was “single and sexy.”
