Katie Maloney Reveals If She Ever Heard from LVP After Opening Something About Her

ICYMI, Katie Maloney recently offered up new details on where she stands with Lisa Vanderpump today. Their relationship status update came as Katie was discussing if she ever heard from the Vanderpump Rules boss after she and Ariana Madix opened up their Something About Her Sandwich shop last year.

During an appearance on The Viall Files podcast on April 10, Katie revealed that she didn't end up having a conversation with her former boss following the May 2024 opening of the Something About Her sandwich shop. 

"Since Ariana and I opened Something About Her, I haven’t heard a peep. No, congrats. I wasn’t expecting it and I didn’t need it but, yeah," she shared during the sit-down. Katie went on to share that she also hasn't spoken to Lisa since it was confirmed there would be a cast shakeup for Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules. 

"So when she wanted to be upset, I saw that she was upset, she said certain people didn’t reach out when the news of the show came out," Katie shared. "I was like, I didn’t hear from you either."

Ariana Madix invites new VPR cast to Something About Her sandwich shop

Something About Her is, coincidentally, located near SUR in Los Angeles. And, previously, Ariana shared that the newbie SURVers have an open invite to grab something to eat.  “Well, if they want to come over and have an argument over a sandwich,” Ariana told E! News in late 2024, “Something About Her is like two doors down.”

Lisa Vanderpump on where she stands with Katie and Ariana today

Lisa shared a similar sentiment about where she stands with Katie during a recent appearance on Bravo’s Hot Mic Podcast when chatting about who she'd been in touch with following the Season 12 cast news for Vanderpump Rules.

“Katie, I didn’t hear from, but you know, as I say, that doesn’t really surprise me,” Lisa said during the podcast appearance. As for if she's spoken to Ariana, Lisa shared during the sane conversation that she thinks she “texted me or tweeted me or something.”

Lisa added,“It’s strange because I’m not saying they should be grateful to me, but they should be grateful for the show. That show gave them a plethora of opportunities they wouldn’t necessarily have had.”

While LVP and Katie may not be speaking, Lisa did share her love for the group that started it all. “Well, I put something out on social media to talk about how I love them all, and I do love them all, regardless of their antics and their foibles,” Lisa said. “There’s a deep love there, but just because what we’ve been through together and seeing them at such a young age, even though they’ve been very frustrating at times, for sure, and they’ve made mistakes, but it was predictable."
