Reality television star Kim Zolciak has decided to share the full story behind her transformation, revealing an extensive list of cosmetic procedures during her July 9 appearance on “Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind.”
The 47-year-old former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member didn’t hold anything back when discussing her beauty evolution with viewers. Speaking candidly about her choices, Zolciak detailed multiple breast augmentations, abdominal contouring, regular Botox treatments, lip enhancements, and specialized jaw work through Ultherapy procedures. She also underwent neck surgery for medical reasons related to a herniated disc.
“I’ve done my boobs a few times and then I had a tummy tuck,” Zolciak shared during the show.. “I did have filler in my lips. I do Botox all the time.”
The mother of six explained that her motivation stemmed from physical changes following multiple pregnancies. Her decision to undergo what she describes as a complete “mommy makeover” came after welcoming six children with her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann.
“I sacrificed my body for six incredible humans, so I did a mommy makeover,” Zolciak explained to viewers. “Just because you’re a mom doesn’t mean you need to let yourself go.”
Interestingly, Zolciak didn’t mention several procedures she has previously discussed publicly during her television appearance. These include the laser vaginal rejuvenation she underwent in 2023 and the unique ear filler treatments she received to better support heavy diamond jewelry, as noted by E! Online.
Zolciak’s openness about cosmetic procedures has significantly influenced her family dynamics, particularly with her eldest daughter, Brielle Biermann. The 28-year-old has been transparent about beginning her own enhancement journey at age 18, starting with lip fillers immediately after graduating from high school.
“I graduated high school, and the second I graduated, my mom took me to L.A. and I got my lips done by the doctor that everybody was getting their lips done at the time,” Biermann recalled during the show.
Growing up in an environment where cosmetic treatments were commonplace, Biermann developed her perspective on beauty procedures. She described accompanying her mother to various appointments throughout her childhood, watching regular Botox sessions and laser treatments become routine family activities.
“I was always going with her to her doctor’s appointments,” Biermann shared with Dr. Terry Dubrow. “I feel like she was mostly getting every laser you could think of to remain youthful, so then like every month I was like, ‘I got to go get my lips done.'”
The younger Biermann admitted that receiving injections became as casual as “getting a Diet Coke,” highlighting how normalized these procedures had become in their household routine.
Zolciak’s most recent appearance on the medical reality show wasn’t purely for disclosure purposes. She sought professional help to address complications from a previous skin-tightening treatment that produced unexpected results during her ongoing divorce proceedings.
The reality star explained that losing 10 pounds during her separation from Kroy Biermann raised concerns about loose skin, prompting her to consider a contouring procedure. Unfortunately, the treatment “was supposed to go under the skin and tighten it up, and it did the opposite,” she told host Michelle Visage.
Despite experiencing this setback, Zolciak maintains a positive outlook regarding her cosmetic enhancement choices. She credits her mother’s supportive approach to fixing physical insecurities as the foundation of her current beliefs.
“My mom always said growing up, if I had really big ears or a really big nose that bothered me or whatever it may have been, she would have fixed it,” Zolciak shared. “I’ve always kind of said the same thing to my girls.”
The television personality continues balancing her role as a mother of six children—Brielle, 27, Ariana, 23, Kroy Jr., 13, Kash, 12, and twins Kaia and Kane, 11—while navigating personal challenges and maintaining her public presence.
