Loverboy vs. Spritz Society could be its own Bravo spinoff.
Us Weekly attended Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” live event held at Chelsea Table & Stage in New York City on Thursday, March 6, and asked Kyle Cooke about Spritz Society, founded by influencers Claudia Oshry, Jackie Oshry and Ben Soffer in 2021, sending a press release titled “Summer House – All About the Canned Cocktail at the Center of the Feud on This Week’s Episode” to announce the drink is expanding its markets. (Kyle, 42, is at odds with costar Paige DeSorbo’s now ex-boyfriend Craig Conover over his involvement in the brand, which is considered a rival to Kyle’s Loverboy, founded in 2018.)
“I mean, I’m the least surprised. I think the only press they’ve received in the last year has had my name on it –– or my show,” Kyle responded, clarifying that he doesn’t take issue with the Oshry family but thinks Craig, 36, may have misrepresented his investment plans. (Craig has denied Kyle’s claims and the two are set to hash it out on an upcoming episode of Summer House based on the trailer.)
“Ben, Claudia, you guys are good, I don’t mind anyone jumping into the alcohol [space]. It’s really just when integrity is compromised is when I have an issue.”
Kyle was joined by costar Carl Radke and Southern Hospitality‘s Joe Bradley at Thursday’s event. Carl, 40, who has also worked for Loverboy, had his longtime friend’s back.
“We were at a bar last week that Craig is an investor in and the bartender was asked about that producer and he said it was the worst thing he’s ever had,” he claimed. “That’s what the guy told me. … Kyle was right there. We just asked, ‘How is this?’ And he said, ‘It’s so horrible.’ He actually gave it to someone for free because it was so bad.”
Neither the Southern Charm star nor the founders of Spritz have addressed Kyle or Carl’s claims, but fans of Claudia and Jackie’s “The Toast” podcast have been quick to tag them in videos from Thursday’s event. Us Weekly also reached out for comment.
Kyle and Craig have been fighting over the canned cocktails of it all since April 2024 when the Charleston resident announced he was a new investor with Spritz. At the time, Craig claimed he went to Kyle and told him he would invest in Loverboy instead if he had a similar offer. Kyle has maintained that the conversation went very differently and the drama is currently playing out on Bravo.
“Maybe he forgets saying this [in] an interview, but he called himself an incredible liar. Rewind the tapes,” Kyle alleged at Thursday’s podcast.
While Paige has been dragged into the controversy on Summer House, she and Craig called it quits after filming wrapped.
“There’s so much more to the story and I think that’s going to start coming out a lot more easily now that they aren’t together,” Kyle added.
On stage on Thursday, Joe Bradley made it clear he has an allegiance to Kyle and Carl — despite saying earlier in the show that he wouldn’t be part of the Summer House vs. Southern Charm beef.
“I’m not naming names, but there’s a few guys on the Southern Charm cast that didn’t say a peep to me [when Southern Hospitality launched],” he said.
