Lala Kent Shows Off Her Darker Hair Color After Declaring Herself an "All-Natural Girl"

There’s no question about it: Lala Kent’s hair game is top-tier. 

Since joining the Bravo-verse in 2015, the Vanderpump Rules mom has delivered a wide range of head-turning hair looks. These have included everything from icy blond locks with choppy bangs to bright pink tresses that reached her tailbone to chocolate brown hair in an ultra-chic topknot. Lala kept the changes coming in late 2024 when she decided to ditch her signature blonde look for something more natural and darker. 

Fans got a closer peek at Lala’s hairstyle in a couple of January 21 Instagram Stories, which she shared ahead of her Amazon Live stream. The videos showed the mother of two preparing for the broadcast while rocking auburn hair styled with a middle part and long layers.

It’s unclear when Lala made the switch, but she addressed her darker hair color back in October, nearly two months after she gave birth to her second daughter, Sosa. The former SUR-ver was hosting an Amazon Live stream when a viewer wondered if Lala had received a dye job.

“Your hair looks darker. Did you change it?” the fan asked. 

“I wish you could see me in person because the amount of grays that I have in this hair…” Lala said in the October 29 broadcast. “I didn’t realize. I was brushing my hair upside down the other day [and saw] I have so many grays. I’m trying to get rid of the blond because I just am not feeling it. My hair has been so damaged over and over again that I’m just trying to get it healthy.”

Lala said she didn’t have any extensions at the time and was content with her natural hair.

“I’m not complaining,” she said before pointing to her roots. “Up here is [natural]. You can see where it gets lighter, where we tried covering the blond. So, I would like to fully get rid of it and just have healthy hair.

“I also have not been into the lashes. I’m just an all-natural girl,” she continued with a laugh. “Just all natural… besides my lips [and] maybe my cheeks and my jaw, too. Let’s not go there.”

As previously mentioned, this wasn’t the first time Lala has strayed away from blond hair. In 2023, the Utah native said she wanted to get rid of her lighter locks because they caused split ends and required too much upkeep. 

“I only have to hold onto this blonde hair a little longer,” she captioned a January 2023 Instagram. “The maintenance is killing my vibe. What should [hair stylist Bradley Leake] and I do next?”
