Latest Jalen Hurts rumors are not a good look for a team that desperately needs to bounce back in 2024

There goes Jalen Hurts accidentally stirring things up again because of his sedate personality.

This time, it's not so much a new rumor but rather one that has spilled into the offseason.

Following the Philadelphia Eagles' 10-1 collapse last year, there were several reports last year that said Hurts had issues with head coach Nick Sirianni.

Latest Jalen Hurts rumors are not a good look for a team that desperately needs to bounce back in 2024

And the way that he recently answered some media questions makes those reports appear to be true.

Hurts was asked during mandatory minicamp, “What have you noticed about Nick being open-minded to change up the offense like he has? What does that say about him?”

"Um," Hurts said with a long pause and a bit of a laugh. "I mean, that's a great question, I don't know that I know the answer to it."

The reporter attempted to push Hurts for more, but he wouldn't budge.

“I think he’s just been great in um….(another long pause)…the messages he’s delivering to the team," Hurts said. "He’s trying to be very intentional with what he’s saying…yeah.”

If a psychologist were to watch this interview and grade the current state of Hurts and Sirianni's relationship, he would give them an "F." Then again, anyone with half a brain would.

The good news is that Sirianni is no longer in full control of the Eagles' offense, which means Hurts will report directly to Kellen Moore.

The bad news is that Sirianni is still the head coach and Hurts' response doesn't give off the warm and fuzzy vibes that the Eagles desperately need in order to bounce back in 2024 and make a run at the Super Bowl.
