“Love Is Blind” star Hannah Jiles does not regret writing out a list of concerns she had about fiancé Nick Dorka — which he later found.
“I think I’m someone who, I say things, [and] it just comes out. And so for me, if I write it down, it really helps me –– kind of like journaling,” she told Page Six recently at a junket for the Netflix reality series.
She added, “I was just writing a list of like, things that maybe, like, he needs to work on or like, red flags, maybe, I’m seeing, and I laid it down, [and] he found it.”
Jiles, 27, told Page Six she does “not really necessarily regret” that he got ahold of the list because they were things she wanted to address with him anyways.
“I think it helped our relationship because these are what I’m seeing that we need to work on, so that we can be better,” the medical device saleswoman told us, adding, “I don’t think I regret it, because I think it helped us. And I think he knew the things that I needed from him.”
Meanwhile, Dorka, 29, told Page Six the list was “not hurtful or painful,” but he wished it could have been more of a natural conversation.
“I understood exactly where she was coming from, but it’s a conversation to have like this. You don’t need to write some things down and put it beside my bed. That’s a conversation that should be face to face,” he said.
The real estate agent added he understood some of the points but was also thrown off because because some of the things she listed were what his “friends say are some of [his] best traits.”
“Everyone comes from different backgrounds, right? Everyone has a different way of handling things. You know, I appreciate her at least putting it out there, you know, rather than holding it in. You know, that that’s what this is for,” he told us.
During the newest season of the hit reality show, which premieres on Netflix Wednesday, Dorka popped the question to Jiles after she found herself in a messy love triangle with Dorka and Leo Braudy in the pods.
Jiles ultimately chose Dorka, but their love quickly faced a test on the couples’ getaway to Mexico.
The two were spending time on the beach when Dorka took a few moments to chat with another female beachgoer. Jiles wasn’t initially upset over the interaction, but that changed after Dorka laughed when the mystery woman called Jiles “jealous.”
The pair then had an intense argument after the ordeal with Jiles subsequently writing down her concerns about Dorka on a piece of paper. Dorka later found the list –– which included concerns over his “maturity,” “self confidence” and “dedication” –– and confronted her.
The couple had a few conversations about the notes Jiles took and Dorka admitted that he thought she was going to “end it” with him.
“It’s like, you wrote eight bullet points down on a card, and I’m like, ‘Holy f–k. There’s eight things she’s questioning about this right now,'” he told her.
Jiles explained that she loves him “so much,” but she still has “concerns” over their relationship that they need to hash out to ensure they are “100 percent” before their potential wedding.
It’s unclear where Jiles and Dorka currently stand, as the next batch of Season 7 episodes won’t be released until Oct. 9 at 3 a.m. ET on Netflix.
The rest of the season will follow them and the five other couples –– Taylor and Garrett; Ashley and Tyler; Marissa and Ramses; Monica and Stephen; and Alexandra and Tim –– navigate their way from the pods, to an engagement, living together and eventually deciding if they’ll say “I do” at the altar.
