Anyone watching Season 7 of Love is Blind is likely familiar with Tim Godbee. While he dated around in the pods, he connected with a woman named Alex Byrd. After Tim and Alex met in person, their relationship started deteriorating… rapidly. It seemed they were head over heels in love with each other in the pods, but meeting face-to-face sort of butchered all of that. Tim is currently dealing with loads of backlash for the way he treated Alex on camera. He’s not taking the influx of hate lying down, though. Tim Godbee Is Clapping Back Against Love Is Blind Fans
Tim has a lot to say to people negatively criticizing him after seeing his treatment of Alex on Love is Blind. He posted a series of emotionally driven Instagram stories to defend himself. He didn’t mince words when arguing with Alex on camera, and he definitely isn’t biting his tongue when clapping back against fans on social media either. In response to being labeled “controlling,” Tim posted:
“If it’s controlling to want to know, your partner made it home from the bar/club, asking for basic household contributions, wanting your parents to be shown some basic respect, and asking to not be cut off constantly and insulted, I’m not sure what options there are left, but to roll over and accept bad treatment by a partner, fear God.”

Tim dumped Alex in the most brutal way before they could reach their wedding episode. In the scene, Alex sat down to eat dinner next to him, but he didn’t waste any time. After grilling her for falling asleep when he wanted her to spend more time with his parents, he told her he never wanted to see her again. Alex didn’t have the saddest reaction ever, leading fans to believe she wasn’t too distraught over the breakup. Some fans have shared their thoughts on Reddit:
