In a powerful and emotional revelation, Love Is Blind alum Marshall Glaze has shared that he’s not only found love again — he’s finally stepping into a new chapter of healing, hope, and commitment. After enduring what he calls the “lowest point” in his life, Marshall is now engaged to girlfriend Chay Barnes, and the couple are officially planning a wedding for later this year.
“There was a time I didn’t think I’d see next year, let alone plan a future with someone,” Marshall admitted. “But love… real, unconditional love… saved me.”
“I Wanted to Disappear. Instead, I Found a Reason to Stay.”
Marshall spoke candidly about his silent battle with depression after Love Is Blind aired — a journey many fans never saw behind the screens.
“The fame, the backlash, the heartbreak — it was heavier than I could handle,” he confessed. “There were days I didn’t get out of bed. Nights I didn’t want to wake up. I had thoughts no one should ever have. But Chay... she saw me at my worst and stayed.”
It wasn’t a glamorous comeback. It was slow, painful, and deeply human.
“She didn’t try to fix me. She just stood by me, loved me, reminded me I was still worth something,” he said through tears. “And that kind of love… it changes you.”
From Surviving to Thriving — “Now I Get to Say Yes”
After rebuilding his life brick by brick, Marshall says proposing to Chay was more than a milestone — it was a promise to himself that he’s not going back to that dark place.
“This wedding isn’t just a celebration of love — it’s proof that healing is real,” he said. “It’s me saying: I choose life. I choose joy. I choose her.”
Though details of the wedding remain under wraps, Marshall hinted that it will be an intimate, emotional ceremony surrounded by close friends and family — the people who “kept the light on” during his darkest hours.
“You Can Come Back From Anything”
Marshall hopes his story inspires others who feel like they’re at the end of their rope.
“If someone reading this is struggling, please hear me: don’t give up. There’s something beautiful waiting for you. It might not come overnight, but it will come,” he said. “For me, it came in the form of a woman who looked me in the eyes and said, ‘You don’t have to be okay yet — just don’t go.’”
Now, with a ring on Chay’s finger and a renewed sense of purpose, Marshall is walking into this next chapter with pride — and peace.
“I almost didn’t make it. But now, I get to walk down the aisle toward the rest of my life. And I’ve never been more grateful.”
