Madison LeCroy is Pregnant: Expecting First Child with Brett Randle - Taste of Reality

The Southern Charm-er is expecting her first child with husband, Brett Randle. 

"And just like that... our world is changing in the most magical way..." Madison wrote on Instagram on February 6. "We can’t wait to meet you, little one!"

The Charleston resident is already a mom to a 12-year-old son, Hudson, who she shares with her ex-husband, Josh Hughes.

Brett and Madison tied the knot in Mexico in November 2022 after starting up their romance in early 2021.

After navigating Brett's health issues (more on that below), the couple was able to shift their focus more to having a baby towards the end of 2024. 

In October 2024, Madison told E! News that the spouses were "hoping" to expand their family very soon. "I'm trying," she said. "I'm definitely hoping for another baby at some point soon."

The following month, Madison revealed that her son was finally on board with having a sibling. "Just recently, he gave me permission to have a sibling," the hairdresser shared with Us Weekly in November. "He said, 'Mom, you can have a baby now.' And I said, 'Oh, OK. Thank you. I’ve been waiting on you to say that.'"

In an exclusive chat with The Daily Dish, Madison shared that having baby No. 2 was going to be her main focus for 2025.  "I think that growing my family is definitely my goal for 2025, and I'm just excited to focus on that more and be present and get healthy and do all those things that we tell ourselves we're going to do starting January 2," she told us shortly before the year wrapped up.

Brett Randle's past health issues

As viewers have seen on Southern Charm, Madison and Brett had to put their family plans to the side for a bit as the firefighter navigated a series of major health issues. 

Brett was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at the end of 2023, right around the time when the two were getting ready to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.  

On Season 10, Episode 2, Brett opened up about his recovery process after getting a nodule removed. 

"Yeah, it’s like two stages," he told his wife while they were in the kitchen of their home together. "I don’t know, so I have to go see an ENT and then do some sort of therapy. I don’t know, I’ll see what they say."

He described his discomfort as feeling like he had something "sharp" in his throat.

Brett later found out that he had a "tumor on his kidney."

Madison reflected on the setback in a phone call to her mom.

"We don't know what it is, but it's still ... I didn't start crying or anything," she explained. "But if I lost him I would die. I just kind of, I don't know. I don't know what to do."

Now, Brett and Madison have been able to work through his health battles and they are now getting ready to welcome a baby together.
