Mark Ballas Sparks Baby #2 Rumors with Throwback Video—Fans Flood Comments with Congrats!

Just before the TikTok ban, former “Dancing With the Stars” pro Mark Ballas went through some of his old videos and shared his favorites.

In one throwback video, Ballas’ wife, BC Jean, showed off her baby bump from when she was pregnant with the couple’s first child. The caption of the post read “drafts,” but many fans were left thinking that Ballas and Jean are expecting another baby.

The comments section of the post quickly filled up with people assuming that baby #2 was on the way, despite Ballas’ previous note about posting old drafts to the app. TikTok was only down for a few hours before being reinstated.

Some people caught on to Ballas’ “drafts,” but others took to the comments section to congratulate him and his wife. The vast majority of people thought that Ballas was announcing his wife’s pregnancy.

“Baby number 2. Awesome congratulations,” one person wrote.

“Congratulations so happy for you both,” someone else said.

“I’m happy for little bambino is on the way,” a third comment read.

“I’m so happy for you two beautiful people,” a fourth TikTok user added.

Dozens more comments like the ones above filled the post.

Mark Ballas & BC Jean Haven’t Shared Any Photos of Their Son’s Face

Ballas and his wife were overjoyed to start a family together.

“Little one, I have watched you grow over the last 9 months in mums tummy & I will be here to watch you grow, hold your hand, laugh with you, cry with you, protect you but let you run free, advise you but let you make you’re own decisions & love you unconditionally till my last day in this life,” Ballas captioned a post on November 21, 2023.

What fans didn’t know at the time was that baby Ballas was already born.

“Welcome to Earth my son. Banksi Wylde Ballas,” the pro dancer captioned an Instagram post in December 2023. Banksi was born on November 5, 2023.

Ballas and Jean have decided to keep most baby-related things private, and haven’t shared any pictures of their little guy publicly. However, Ballas has absolutely loved being a dad. 

“Now we have a son, and there’s just a lot of other things that I’m excited about right now. Number one, being a dad,” Ballas said on a December episode of the “Trading Secrets” podcast.
