“Just got on the plane and went to grab some insulin from my bag because my blood sugar is starting to go high,” Arnold wrote over a video of her on the plane looking worried. “Then when I looked in my bag I couldn’t find it ANYWHERE! I’m now just realizing I left it at my apartment 😭.”

The video was set to Justin Bieber’s song “What Do You Mean?” and Arnold wrote in the caption, “Never have I ever done this to myself, at least it’s a short flight 😅 should I just drink a bunch of water or something?? 😭 #type1diabetes.”

Rylee Arnold Reassured Worried Fans

Naturally, fans flooded the comments with their concern over the 20-year-old dancer, including fellow “DWTS” pro Ezra Sosa who wrote, “ARE YOU ALIVE OH MY GOD.” Arnold reassured everyone she was fine once her flight landed. She posted a follow-up TikTok video that featured her dancing around in comfy sweats.

She wrote over the video, “Update I’m alive and well!! Got insulin right as I landed and ate a big lunch cause I was starving 🥰.” Arnold explained a bit more in the caption, writing, “The only problem is I’m super tired from the high blood sugar but it’s okay cause we figured it out!!! Love you all ❤️”

It seems many fans were truly worried about the dancer, showing their love and support in the comments. One user wrote “Rylee that was the scariest 6 hours of my life” and another echoed the sentiment, writing, “You got a T1D mom over here freaking out for you!!!” Yet another fan chimed in with, “girl I was panicking, like who do I call?”

Rylee Arnold Handles Her Diagnosis Well

Aside from this one mishap, Arnold manages her Type 1 diabetes very well. She has even spoken about how it has helped her grow as a person. She recently shared with Woman’s World, “It’s a hard diagnosis … but I think it’s made me stronger and more mature.”

Arnold has also collaborated with the beverage company Swoon to create her own healthy drink, Swoon x Rylee Arnold Pink Lemonade. “What really aligns me is that their lemonade is zero sugar and zero carbs. And for a type 1 diabetic, that is anyone’s dream, because it’s a yummy drink that does not spike your glucose levels,” she explained.
