“Our Smallest Moment Will Be Our Biggest”: Blake & Giannina Promise That Their Intimate Wedding Will Be Unforgettable

Bachelor Nation’s Blake Horstmann and Love Is Blind star Giannina Gibelli exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about planning their “intimate” wedding.

“We are taking a trip in just a couple of days to go see where we’re going to get married, and it’s just going to be so magical,” Giannina, 32, revealed to Us on the red carpet of the ESPY Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 16. “We don’t know what it’s going to look like [yet].”

Blake, 36, confirmed that their “big day” will happen next summer, though it’s already been “a bit of a process” putting together preliminary details.

Giannina joked that she and Blake won’t be competing with Amazon executive chairman Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s recent wedding in Venice, where their 200 guests included the Kardashian and Jenner family, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sydney Sweeney and dozens more A-listers.

“I just didn’t feel like wasting my $50 million on that one moment,” the Love Is Blind alum teased.

Instead, Blake and Giannina are planning a destination wedding for a small circle of loved ones who have been important to their relationship journey.

“I’m a very small and intimate kind of gal. Also, it’s far away,” Giannina clarified. “So you know who your people are. Whoever’s going to show up. I know you’re my people!”

Blake interjected, “I think we’re going to invite a decent amount, but I think it’s going to end up being kind of an intimate, intimate [thing], it’s going to be fun.”

Aside from their impending nuptials, the couple revealed to Us that they were “working hard” on some exciting professional opportunities — so is a return to reality TV in the cards?

“Always, honestly,” Giannina declared.

The reality TV favorites started dating in 2022 after they worked together on the Paramount+ reality series All Star Shore. Us exclusively revealed in April 2024 that Giannina had given birth to her and Blake’s first child, Heath Orion.

“Our baby is his father’s twin!” Giannina told Us. “There are so many similarities it’s adorable to see them light up in each other. As far as personality goes, he’s an Aries like his mama so we’ll see, he just might be the perfect mix of both of us.”

At the time, the Netflix star admitted she was taken aback by “how much I actually enjoyed the act of giving birth” despite all of the physical and emotional exertion that comes along with it.

“You’re conditioned to think it’s this scary thing but even during the hardest parts I had the biggest smile on my face, I literally couldn’t hide how happy it made me,” she recalled.

Five months after Heath’s arrival, People reported in November 2024 that Blake proposed to Giannina with a 4.87-carat lab-grown diamond ring from Brilliant Earth while they were on a trip to Madrid, Spain.

“I had been looking for the perfect ring for over a year,” Horstmann said at the time. “I had an idea of what she wanted — cut, clarity, etc. — but I didn’t want to go and pick out a ring with her. I really wanted the ring to be a complete surprise.”

The former Bachelorette star added, “When she did finally see [the ring], she was breathless and so happy, so that felt really amazing. We are over the moon and we can’t wait to be married in front of our loved ones.”
