Paige DeSorbo has been focusing on herself and her health following her breakup from Craig Conover. After the Summer House cast member announced her split from the Southern Charm pillow magnate in late December 2024, she has been out on the town and continuing to learn more about herself along the way.
During a Jan. 21 episode of her podcast, Giggly Squad, Paige and her co-host/BFF, Hannah Berner, were discussing how some women feel like it's their job to "fix" the men they date. But, Paige noted that this can lead to both partners ignoring their own needs. "I think that's why being single is so healthy, because you get to learn what you want, what you need," she stated. She then revealed how being single has led her to realizing new things about herself.
"I've only been single for a couple months, but already, just in terms of my single life [and] my own personal life, I never wanted to work out," she explained. "Obviously you want to work out because you want to be hot or whatever. I never wanted to work out because I feel like I literally didn't care about my body. I didn't care if I was healthy. I didn't care if I was strong. And then when I was single, I was like, Oh no, I have to stay alive. You know?"
Paige DeSorbo says her new single routine has come "naturally" to her
Paige continued, adding that she "never" thought she would be able to get into a routine, but it came rather easily to her. "I've been working out three times a week and I haven't even thought about it," she said. "It was just very empowering for my own self to see like, Oh, I thought I'd never be able to quit that, or I thought I'd never be able to start that up. And so then when you're doing it naturally you're like, Wait, I'm way stronger than I was giving myself credit for.'"
Paige DeSorbo says it's "weird" being single in her 30s
Although she has come to find that single life is "empowering," Paige noted on a Jan. 14 episode of Giggly Squad that being in her thirties has been a bit "weird" for her. The last time she was single, she explained, she was in her late twenties, and hitting the town was much easier.
"We're not in our twenties anymore, so not that you can't be single like you were in your twenties, you can do whatever you want, but it's almost like you don't want to be," she said. "When I got single at 28, I was like, 'Catch me at every single club that exists in New York City,' and I was there. You could find me in a club. Now I'm like, 'I would pass away if I went to a club until 4 a.m. Like, I'd literally pass away. So, it is weird thinking of, 'What am I going to do being single?'"
Paige has done quite a bit in the past month, attending a New York Knicks game with Hannah and going to a Philadelphia Eagles game in Pennsylvania — but she hasn't hit the club just yet. "I've done a couple of dinners with my girlfriends," she said on the podcast. "I haven't gone out yet."
