Despite it being the offseason for the Kansas City ChiefsPatrick Mahomes has continued to appear prevalently on national TV over the past few weeks; the reason being that he's been a frequent visitor during the Dallas MavericksNBA Finals run.

Mahomes is an avid Mavs fan and has been a good luck charm for them this postseason. But unfortunately for the superstar quarterback, Dallas' run came to an end on Monday night at the hands of the Boston Celtics.

During Game 5, Mahomes only posted one thing about the game, and it was a humorous one.

Although some believed Mahomes' message was aimed at Jayson Tatum, who was on fire in the first half, his tweet came immediately after Payton Pritchard hit a buzzer-beating halfcourt shot right before halftime.

Pritchard hit a buzzer-beater in Game 2 as well, which gave the Celtics a 9-point lead right before the 4th quarter.

The Celtics ended up winning by 7 points, so that was a crucial moment in the game. It clearly left a mark on Mahomes, one he won't forget soon enough.
