Henry Cejudo thinks Gervonta Davis is lucky to still have an undefeated boxing record.
The former dual-weight UFC champion watched on from home as the WBA lightweight champion attempted to go 31-0 against Lamont Roach at Barclays Center in New York on Saturday night.
‘Tank’ took a knee in round nine, but it wasn’t scored a knockdown by referee Steve Willis.
Ultimately, that decision proved pivotal as the fight ended in a majority draw, which would’ve been a majority decision win for Roach if he had been given a 10-8 round in the ninth round as he should have.
Henry Cejudo reacts to Gervonta Davis vs Lamont Roach
Henry Cejudo spent most of his night watching a UFC card headlined by Manel Kape vs Asu Almabayev.
The 38-year-old complained about an eye poke during Kape’s TKO win at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
After that, Cejudo turned his attention to Gervonta Davis facing the toughest test of his career.
Like many, the former UFC flyweight and bantamweight titleholder thought Roach was a clear winner.
Post-fight, he implored the 25-1-2 boxing star to protest the result and the referee’s decision-making.

What’s next for Henry Cejudo?
Henry Cejudo is fresh off a controversial defeat to Song Yadong, who he fought at UFC Seattle last weekend.
The MMA legend was the victim of an eye poke that left him unable to fight on after the third round.
Referee Jason Herzog failed to punish Yadong for his fight-ending foul, which he later admitted was a mistake.
It proved to be a costly one as Cejudo dropped to a technical decision defeat that saw him miss out on $150,000.
UFC CEO Dana White immediately ruled out booking Yadong vs Cejudo 2 – but that hasn’t stopped ‘The King of Cringe’ from campaigning for a rematch, and another big fight with former bantamweight champion Petr Yan.
“I would love to run it back with him, but if I can’t run it back with him; I know that Yan said that May was open – I’d love that fight with Petr Yan,” Cejudo said on the Believe You Me Podcast.
“You know what I’m saying? We could scrap it out – if my eye is going to get better then I’ll be ready by May and Song’s already had his shot at Petr Yan, so give me Petr Yan dude.”
